3. Setup
3.1 Unpacking
- Carefully remove the refrigerator from its packaging.
- Inspect the unit for any signs of damage. If damaged, do not operate and contact customer support.
- Allow the refrigerator to stand upright for at least 6 hours before connecting to power. This allows the refrigerant to settle.
3.2 Placement
- Place the refrigerator on a flat, stable surface to ensure proper operation and prevent tipping.
- Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit. Leave at least 10 cm of space on all sides for air circulation.
- Avoid direct sunlight, rain, or excessive heat.
- The unit is designed to be anti-shake and anti-shock, safe to run at angles less than 45° for short periods.

3.3 Power Connection
The Alpicool TAW45 supports multiple power supply modes:
- 12V/24V DC: Use the provided DC power cord to connect to your car's cigarette lighter socket or a 24V truck power outlet.
- 100-240V AC: Use the provided AC adapter to connect to a standard home power outlet.
- Portable Power Station/Solar Panel: The unit can also be powered by a compatible portable power station or solar panel (requires appropriate controller and battery, not included).

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Control Panel
The control panel is located on the front of the unit. It typically includes a display, temperature adjustment buttons, and mode selection buttons. Refer to the specific button layout on your unit.
4.2 Power On/Off
- Press the power button to turn the unit on or off.
4.3 Temperature Setting
- Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the desired temperature for each compartment.
- The display will show the current temperature and the set temperature.
4.4 Mode Selection (MAX/ECO)
- Press the mode button to switch between MAX and ECO modes.
- MAX Mode: Provides faster cooling, suitable for quickly reaching desired temperatures.
- ECO Mode: Optimizes energy consumption, ideal for prolonged use and battery efficiency.
4.5 Battery Protection Settings
The refrigerator features a 3-level battery protection system to prevent your vehicle's battery from draining completely. Adjust this setting based on your needs.
- HIGH: Provides maximum protection for your vehicle battery. The refrigerator will cut off power at a higher voltage.
- MED (Default): Standard protection.
- LOW: Allows the refrigerator to operate at a lower voltage before cutting off, useful if connected to a dedicated auxiliary battery.

4.6 Smartphone App Control
The Alpicool TAW45 can be controlled via a smartphone application. Download the official Alpicool app from your device's app store. The app allows for remote temperature adjustment, mode selection, and monitoring of battery status.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
- Always disconnect the power supply before cleaning.
- Clean the interior and exterior surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- The integrated drainage outlet facilitates easy cleaning by allowing water to drain out.
- Ensure the unit is completely dry before reconnecting power.
5.2 Storage
- If storing for an extended period, ensure the refrigerator is clean and dry.
- Leave the lid slightly ajar to prevent odors and mold growth.
- Store in a dry, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
