Setup and Installation
Follow these steps carefully to install your new outdoor wall light fixture.
Step 1: Prepare for Installation
- Turn off power: Locate the circuit breaker or fuse box that supplies power to the light fixture outlet box. Turn off the power completely.
- Remove old fixture: Carefully remove any existing light fixture. Disconnect all wires.
- Inspect wiring: Ensure the electrical box and wiring are in good condition and meet local electrical codes.
Step 2: Install Mounting Plate
- Attach the mounting plate to the electrical outlet box using the provided screws. Ensure the plate is securely fastened.

Step 3: Wire the Fixture
- Connect the fixture's ground wire (bare copper or green) to the house's ground wire using a wire nut. If no house ground wire is present, attach to the green grounding screw on the mounting plate.
- Connect the fixture's neutral wire (white) to the house's neutral wire (white) using a wire nut.
- Connect the fixture's hot wire (black or smooth) to the house's hot wire (black or colored) using a wire nut.
- Carefully tuck all wires into the electrical outlet box.
Step 4: Attach the Fixture Body
- Align the fixture body with the mounting plate and secure it using the provided screws. Ensure the fixture is flush against the wall and stable.

Step 5: Install Bulbs and Glass Shade
- Insert two (2) incandescent bulbs with an E12 base, not exceeding 60 watts each, into the sockets. Bulbs are not included.

- Carefully place the clear glass shade into the fixture, ensuring it is seated properly and secured according to the fixture's design.
Step 6: Restore Power
- Once installation is complete, restore power at the circuit breaker or fuse box.
- Test the light fixture to ensure it functions correctly.
Operating Instructions
The Maxim Lighting Savannah Vx 2-Light Outdoor Wall Light operates via a standard wall switch (not included). Once installed and powered, use the wall switch to turn the light fixture on or off.

Maintenance
