Setup Guide
Step 1: Charge the Doorbell Camera
Before initial use, fully charge the doorbell using the provided Micro USB cable. Connect the cable to the doorbell's charging port and a standard USB power adapter (not included). A full charge typically takes approximately 8 hours and can last 1 to 2 months depending on usage.
Step 2: Download the CloudEdge App
Search for 'CloudEdge' in your smartphone's app store (Google Play Store for Android or Apple App Store for iOS) and download the application. Create an account or log in if you already have one.
Step 3: Connect to Wi-Fi
- Open the CloudEdge app and tap 'Add Device' or the '+' icon.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to select your device type and enter your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network details. Note: The doorbell only supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks; 5 GHz networks are not supported.
- The app will generate a QR code. Position your doorbell camera to scan this QR code from your phone screen. You will hear a confirmation sound once connected.
Step 4: Install the Doorbell
Choose a suitable location near your front door. You can mount the doorbell using the provided screws and wall anchors, or use the adhesive tabs for a less permanent installation. Ensure the camera has a clear view of the area you wish to monitor.

Troubleshooting
- Doorbell not connecting to Wi-Fi: Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4 GHz. Check that the Wi-Fi signal strength is adequate at the doorbell's installation location. Restart your router and the doorbell, then try the connection process again.
- No motion detection alerts: Verify that PIR motion detection is enabled in the CloudEdge app settings. Adjust the sensitivity level and ensure motion zones are correctly configured.
- Short battery life: Frequent motion detection events, live view access, and cold weather can reduce battery life. Ensure the doorbell is fully charged. Consider reducing motion detection sensitivity or frequency if not critical.
- Poor video quality: Check your Wi-Fi connection strength. A weak signal can affect video streaming quality. Ensure the camera lens is clean and free from obstructions.
- Two-way audio issues: Ensure your smartphone's microphone and speaker are functioning correctly. Check the volume settings in the app and on your phone.
