1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Heaflex Electric Dog Training Collar. This system is designed to assist in training your dog(s) effectively and humanely. It features a remote transmitter and two receiver collars, offering multiple training modes to help correct unwanted behaviors and reinforce positive ones. Please read this manual thoroughly before use to ensure proper operation and safety for both you and your pet.

2. Safety Information

Not for Aggressive Dogs: Do not use this product on aggressive dogs. If your dog is aggressive, consult a professional dog trainer.
Age and Weight Restrictions: This training collar is suitable for dogs weighing 5 lbs and above. Do not use on puppies under 6 months old.
Collar Fit: Ensure the collar fits snugly but not too tightly. It should be comfortable for your dog and allow two fingers to fit between the strap and your dog's neck. Prolonged wear or overtightening can cause skin irritation.
Supervised Use: Always supervise your dog when wearing the training collar. Do not leave the collar on for more than 12 hours per day.
Avoid Over-Correction: Use the training modes responsibly. Excessive use of static shock can cause physical or psychological harm to your dog. Start with the lowest effective level.

4.1 Remote Transmitter

Display Screen: Shows current channel, mode, intensity level, and battery status.
Channel Switch: Toggles between Dog 1 and Dog 2.
Security Lock: Prevents accidental activation of training modes.
Mode Buttons: Separate buttons for Beep, Vibration, and Static Shock.
Intensity Adjustment: Side buttons to adjust vibration and static shock levels (1-16).

4.2 Receiver Collar

Contact Points: Deliver static shock. Choose appropriate length based on dog's fur.

5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Devices

Before first use, fully charge the remote transmitter and both receiver collars. Use the provided 2-in-1 magnetic charging cable and a 5V1A (or lower) power adapter (not included).

Connect the magnetic ends of the charging cable to the charging ports on the remote and receiver collars.
Plug the USB end of the cable into a compatible power adapter.
Charging typically takes 2 hours. The battery indicator on the remote will show full, and the receiver's indicator light will change when fully charged.

5.2 Turning On/Off

Receiver Collar: Press and hold the power button on the receiver until the indicator light turns on/off.
Remote Transmitter: The remote typically powers on automatically when a button is pressed. It may enter a sleep mode to conserve battery.

5.3 Pairing the Remote and Collars

The remote and collars are usually pre-paired from the factory. If re-pairing is needed:

Ensure both the remote and receiver collar are fully charged and turned off.
Press and hold the power button on the receiver collar until the indicator light flashes rapidly.
Within 10 seconds, select the desired dog channel (1 or 2) on the remote and press any training mode button (Beep, Vibration, or Static Shock).
The receiver's indicator light will stop flashing and remain solid, indicating successful pairing. Repeat for the second collar on the other channel.

5.4 Fitting the Collar

Proper fit is crucial for effectiveness and comfort.

Place the receiver collar around your dog's neck, ensuring the contact points are positioned beneath the neck, touching the skin.
Adjust the nylon strap so it is snug but not tight. You should be able to fit two fingers comfortably between the collar and your dog's neck.
If your dog has thick fur, use the longer contact points provided. For very thick fur, you may need to trim some fur around the contact points for better conductivity.
Trim any excess strap length and use a lighter to seal the cut edge to prevent fraying.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Training Modes

The Heaflex training collar offers three humane training modes:

Beep Mode: Delivers an audible tone to get your dog's attention.
Vibration Mode: Provides a gentle to strong vibration. Adjustable levels 1-16.
Static Shock Mode: Delivers a mild static correction. Adjustable levels 1-16.

6.2 Adjusting Intensity Levels

For Vibration and Static Shock modes, you can adjust the intensity from level 1 to 16 using the up/down buttons on the side of the remote. Always start with the lowest level and increase gradually until your dog responds.

6.3 Security Keypad Lock

The remote features a security keypad lock to prevent accidental activation of training modes, especially the static shock. Slide the lock switch on the side of the remote to engage or disengage the lock.

6.4 Training Two Dogs

The remote transmitter supports training two dogs simultaneously. Use the channel switch on the remote to select Dog 1 or Dog 2 before applying a training mode.

7. Maintenance

Cleaning: Regularly clean the receiver collar and contact points with a damp cloth. Ensure no dirt or debris accumulates around the contact points.
Battery Care: Charge devices fully before long periods of inactivity. Avoid overcharging.
Storage: Store the training system in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Water Resistance: The receiver collar is IP67 waterproof. However, prolonged submersion or exposure to high-pressure water jets should be avoided to maintain longevity. The remote is NOT waterproof.
