2. Setup and Registration

To use the RFID cards, they must first be registered with your NGTeco time clock system. This process typically involves adding employee details and then associating an RFID card with each employee through the NGTeco Office app or the time clock's interface.

2.1 Initial Time Clock Setup (Refer to Time Clock Manual)

Before registering RFID cards, ensure your NGTeco time clock (TC1, TC2, MB1, or MB2) is properly set up, connected to the network (Wi-Fi or Ethernet), and configured according to its specific user manual. This includes creating an organization and adding sites within the NGTeco Office application.

2.2 Registering RFID Cards via NGTeco Office App

The NGTeco Office app allows for remote registration of employee credentials, including RFID cards. Follow these general steps:

  1. Download and install the NGTeco Office app from Google Play or the Apple App Store.
  2. Log in to your existing account or sign up for a new one.
  3. Bind your time clock device to your organization within the app (usually by scanning a QR code on the device screen or using Bluetooth).
  4. Navigate to the 'Device' section, then 'Device Control', and select 'Person in this device'.
  5. Choose the 'Card' option for the desired employee.
  6. When prompted, present the RFID card to the time clock's scanner. The device will confirm successful registration.

4. Maintenance

NGTeco RFID cards are designed for durability. To ensure their longevity and proper function:

  • Avoid bending or creasing the cards.
  • Keep cards away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
  • Protect cards from water and excessive moisture.
  • Store cards in a clean, dry place when not in use.

5. Troubleshooting

5.1 Card Not Recognized

  • Ensure the card is placed correctly on the time clock's reader.
  • Verify that the card is registered to an active employee in the NGTeco Office app.
  • Check if the time clock model is compatible with these RFID cards (TC1, TC2, MB1, MB2).
  • If the issue persists, try re-registering the card through the NGTeco Office app.

5.2 Lost or Damaged Card

  • If a card is lost or damaged, it is recommended to deactivate the old card in the NGTeco Office app to prevent unauthorized use.
