Setup and First Use
Unlocking Your Device
Before first use, you must download the FOREO For You mobile app to unlock and register your device. Follow these simple steps:
- Download the FOREO For You app on your mobile phone. You can find it on the App Store or Google Play, or visit foreo.com/app.
- Log in to your account or sign up for a new one.
- Add device (located at the top of your screen).
- Choose device series.
- Press and hold the Power button to connect your device to the mobile app.
- Fill in the purchase information.
Your device is now ready to use!
Operating Instructions
Cleansing Mode
To use the cleansing mode:
- Dampen your face and apply your preferred cleanser.
- Wet the LUNA 4 device.
- Press the power button to turn on the device.
- Gently glide the LUNA 4's silicone bristles in circular motions over your face for one minute.
- Adjust the intensity using the '+' and '-' buttons on the device, or through the FOREO For You app.
- Rinse your face and the device after use.
Firming Massage Mode
To use the firming massage mode:
- Apply a serum or moisturizer to your face and neck.
- Turn on the LUNA 4 and select the firming massage mode (typically activated by a second press of the power button or via the app).
- Glide the back of the device (with the ridges) outwards from the center of your face, following your natural contours.
- The device offers 5 manual massage patterns and 4 app-guided routines for targeted treatments.
Maintenance
Cleaning Your LUNA 4
Always clean your LUNA 4 thoroughly after each use. Wash the device with soap and water, then rinse with warm water. Pat dry with a lint-free cloth or towel. Avoid using cleansers containing alcohol, petrol, or acetone, as these may damage the silicone.
Charging
The LUNA 4 is rechargeable via the included USB cable. A full charge takes approximately 1.5 hours and provides up to 600 uses. When the battery is low, the indicator light will flash. Connect the USB cable to the charging port on the device and a power source.

Troubleshooting
If you experience issues with your FOREO LUNA 4, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Device not activating when pressing the center button: The battery might be empty. Recharge using the USB charging cable for up to 2 hours until fully charged. Then, restart your device by holding down the power button.
- Device cannot be switched off or interface buttons do not respond: The microprocessor may be temporarily malfunctioning. Press and hold the power button to restart the device.
- Device won't sync to the FOREO app:
- Ensure your device is fully charged and that your Bluetooth is turned on.
- Switch your Bluetooth off and then on again to try reconnecting.
- Close the FOREO app and then reopen it to start the process over.
- Delete and reinstall the application; perhaps the application simply needs to be updated.
- After deleting and reinstalling the application, make sure to restart your phone.
- Delete your phone's cookies and cache memory.
- Ensure that your mobile's operating system has been updated to the latest version.
