Setup

1. Install Batteries in the Receiver:

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the portable receiver.
  2. Open the compartment cover.
  3. Insert 3 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

2. Pairing the Wristband with the Receiver:

The wristband and receiver are typically pre-paired from the factory. If they are not paired or if you need to re-pair them:

  • Ensure the receiver has fresh batteries and is powered on.
  • Press and hold the pairing button on the receiver (refer to the diagram below for location, often a small button or a combination of buttons). The receiver will enter pairing mode, indicated by a light or sound.
  • While the receiver is in pairing mode, press the SOS button on the wristband.
  • The receiver should emit a confirmation sound or flash, indicating successful pairing.
  • Test the connection by pressing the SOS button on the wristband. The receiver should alert.

Operating Instructions

1. Wearing the Wristband:

Wear the emergency call wristband comfortably on your wrist. Ensure it is not too tight or too loose.

2. Placing the Receiver:

Position the portable receiver in a location where the caregiver can easily hear or see the alert. Its portability allows it to be carried around the house or clipped to clothing.

3. Initiating an Emergency Call:

In case of an emergency or if assistance is needed, simply press the red SOS button on the wristband. The receiver will immediately activate its alert.

4. Adjusting Volume and Alert Modes:

The receiver offers 5 adjustable volume levels and multiple alert modes (ring, vibration, colorful flash). Use the dedicated buttons on the receiver to cycle through volume levels and alert modes to suit your preference.

5. Mute Function:

Maintenance

1. Battery Replacement:

The receiver will provide a low battery warning when power is insufficient. Replace the 3 AAA batteries promptly to ensure continuous operation. The wristband's battery is typically long-lasting and not user-replaceable; contact support if it fails.

2. Cleaning:

Wipe the receiver and wristband with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the receiver in water. The wristband is splash-proof but not designed for submersion.

3. Regular Testing:

It is recommended to test the emergency call system weekly to ensure all components are functioning correctly and the signal range is maintained.
