5. Setup

5.1 Mounting

The U`King Par LED Stage Light can be mounted in various positions using the included brackets. The brackets allow for 360-degree rotation to adjust the light direction.

• Floor Placement: Position the light on a stable, flat surface.
• Wall Mounting: Secure the brackets to a sturdy wall using appropriate screws and anchors.
• Truss Mounting: Attach the brackets to a lighting truss using clamps (not included) and safety cables.

Always ensure the fixture is securely fastened and use a safety cable as an additional precaution when mounting overhead.

5.2 Connections

Connect the power cable to the AC input on the rear of the unit. For DMX control, connect DMX cables from your DMX controller to the DMX IN port, and then from DMX OUT to the DMX IN of the next fixture in a daisy chain.

6. Operating Modes

The U`King Par LED Stage Light offers several operating modes, which can be selected using the control panel on the rear of the unit (refer to Figure 5.2).

6.1 Automatic Mode

In Automatic mode, the light cycles through pre-programmed patterns and color changes without external input. Use the MENU and UP/DOWN buttons to select different automatic programs.

6.2 Sound Activated Mode

The Sound Activated mode allows the light to react to ambient sound or music. The light patterns and color changes will synchronize with the beat. The sensitivity of the sound activation can be adjusted via the control panel.

6.3 DMX 512 Mode

For professional control, connect the fixture to a DMX 512 controller. The light uses 8 DMX channels, allowing for precise control over color, dimming, strobe, and other effects. Refer to the DMX channel chart in the included manual for specific channel assignments.

6.4 Master-Slave Mode

In Master-Slave mode, multiple lights can be synchronized. Connect the DMX OUT of the 'Master' unit to the DMX IN of the first 'Slave' unit, and continue daisy-chaining to subsequent slave units. The Master unit will control all connected Slave units, ensuring synchronized lighting effects.
