Important Safety Instructions
Please read all instructions carefully before using your Shark WANDVAC System. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.
- Always unplug the charger from the electrical outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
- Do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces.
- Do not allow to be used as a toy. Close attention is necessary when used by or near children.
- Use only as described in this manual. Use only manufacturer's recommended attachments.
- Do not use with a damaged cord or plug. If the appliance is not working as it should, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, return it to a service center.
- Do not pull or carry by cord, use cord as a handle, close a door on cord, or pull cord around sharp edges or corners. Do not run appliance over cord. Keep cord away from heated surfaces.
- Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.
- Do not handle plug or appliance with wet hands.
- Do not put any object into openings. Do not use with any opening blocked; keep free of dust, lint, hair, and anything that may reduce airflow.
- Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of body away from openings and moving parts.

- Do not use without dust cup and/or filters in place.

- Exercise extra care when cleaning on stairs.

Setup and Assembly
Follow these steps to assemble your Shark WANDVAC System and prepare it for first use.
- Assemble the Vacuum:
- Insert the wand into the PowerFins Floor Nozzle until it clicks securely into place.
- Insert the handheld vacuum into the top of the wand until it clicks securely into place.
- Charge the Battery:
- Place the assembled vacuum onto the charging dock. Ensure the contacts align.
- Plug the charging dock into a standard electrical outlet.
- The battery indicator lights on the handheld unit will illuminate to show charging status. Allow for a full charge before first use.

Operating Your Vacuum
The Shark WANDVAC System offers versatile cleaning modes for various tasks.
Power On/Off and Suction Modes
- To turn on the vacuum, press the power button located on the handheld unit.
- The vacuum operates with Hypervelocity accelerated suction power for efficient cleaning.
- For tougher messes, press the Boost button to activate extra bursts of strong suction.
One-Touch Transitions (3-in-1 Functionality)
Easily switch between cleaning modes with a single touch:
- Full Stick Vacuum Mode: For floor cleaning, use the vacuum fully assembled with the wand and PowerFins floor nozzle. The PowerFins technology ensures continuous contact with surfaces, digging deep into carpets and directly engaging hard floors.
- Handheld Vacuum Mode: Detach the handheld unit from the wand for quick clean-ups on furniture, stairs, or in your car.
- Extended Reach Mode: Detach the handheld unit from the wand and attach it directly to the PowerFins floor nozzle, or use the wand with an accessory tool for cleaning high or hard-to-reach areas.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance of your Shark WANDVAC System.
Emptying the Dust Cup
Empty the dust cup after each use or when debris reaches the MAX fill line.
- Ensure the handheld vacuum is turned off.
- Hold the handheld vacuum over a trash bin.
- Press the One-Touch Hygienic Empty button to release the dust cup contents.
- Close the dust cup lid securely until it clicks.

Cleaning the Filters
The vacuum uses a foam filter. Rinse filters regularly to maintain suction power. Refer to the full manual for specific filter removal and cleaning instructions.
- Rinse filters with cold water only.
- Allow filters to air-dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinstalling.
- Do not operate the vacuum with wet filters.
Brushroll Maintenance
The PowerFins floor nozzle features a self-cleaning brushroll designed to prevent hair wrap. Periodically check the brushroll for any debris or blockages.

Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Shark WANDVAC System, refer to the table below for common problems and solutions.
