3. Assembly Instructions

The Amewi 22575 CoolRC DIY Race Buggy is designed for tool-free assembly using an intelligent plug-in system. The 51-piece model can typically be assembled within 30 minutes without the need for glue.

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from their packaging. Organize them to ensure easy access during assembly.
  2. Chassis Assembly: Begin by connecting the main chassis components. The parts are made from solid ABS plastic and are designed to snap together securely.
  3. Motor and Drive Train: Install the brushed motor and connect the drive train components. Ensure all gears are properly aligned for smooth operation.
  4. Suspension System: Attach the spring-loaded chassis components to the main frame. This provides the necessary shock absorption for various terrains.
  5. Wheel Installation: Mount the high-grip rubber tires onto the axles. Ensure they are firmly attached.
  6. Body Shell: Assemble the body shell from the ABS plastic parts.
  7. Apply Stickers: Use the provided UV-resistant sticker set to customize the look of your buggy. Apply them carefully according to your preference.

4. Setup

Before operating your Amewi CoolRC Race Buggy, follow these steps for initial setup:

  1. Install Buggy Batteries: The buggy requires 3 x 1.5V AA batteries. Open the battery compartment on the underside of the buggy, insert the batteries observing the correct polarity (+/-), and close the compartment securely.
  2. Install Remote Control Batteries: The 2.4 GHz pistol remote control requires 2 x 1.5V AA batteries. Open the battery compartment on the remote control, insert the batteries observing the correct polarity (+/-), and close the compartment securely.
  3. Power On: Turn on the remote control first, then turn on the power switch on the buggy. The remote control and buggy should automatically pair. If they do not pair, turn both off and repeat the process.

5. Operating Instructions

Your Amewi CoolRC Race Buggy is designed for both indoor and outdoor use, reaching a maximum speed of approximately 8 km/h.

  • Steering: Use the steering wheel on the remote control to turn the buggy left or right.
  • Throttle: Use the trigger on the remote control to control forward and reverse movement. Pull the trigger to move forward, push it to brake or reverse.
  • Terrain: The buggy features a spring-loaded chassis and high-grip rubber tires, making it suitable for various terrains. Avoid excessively rough or wet surfaces to prevent damage.
  • Range: The 2.4 GHz system provides a reliable connection. Maintain a clear line of sight between the remote control and the buggy for optimal performance.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance will help prolong the life and performance of your Amewi CoolRC Race Buggy:

  • Cleaning: After each use, especially outdoors, gently clean the buggy to remove dirt, dust, and debris. Use a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using water or harsh chemicals.
  • Battery Storage: Remove batteries from both the buggy and the remote control if they will not be used for an extended period. Store batteries in a cool, dry place.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Buggy moves slowly or not at all:
    • Check battery levels in the buggy and replace if necessary.
    • Inspect for any obstructions in the wheels or drive train.
    • Ensure all connections are secure.
