Setup

1. Initial Charge

Before first use, fully charge your SHANLING M6 Ultra using the provided USB A to Type-C cable and a compatible USB power adapter (not included). The device features a 5650mAh battery.

2. Power On/Off

  • Power On: Press and hold the Power button until the screen illuminates.
  • Power Off: Press and hold the Power button, then select 'Power Off' from the on-screen options.

3. Insert MicroSD Card

Locate the MicroSD card slot on the side of the device. Gently insert your MicroSD card (up to 2TB supported) until it clicks into place. The device will automatically detect the card.

4. Initial Configuration

Upon first boot, follow the on-screen prompts to select your language, connect to a Wi-Fi network, and configure basic Android settings.

Operating Instructions

1. Basic Navigation

The M6 Ultra operates on an open Android 10 system with a 5-inch touchscreen. Navigate through menus and applications by tapping, swiping, and using the physical buttons for volume, playback control, and power.

2. Music Playback

  • Transfer Music: Connect the M6 Ultra to your computer via the USB-C cable and transfer audio files to the internal storage or MicroSD card.
  • Supported Formats: The device supports a wide array of audio formats including DSD, ISO, DXD, APE, FLAC, WAV, AIFF, MP3, MP4, WMA, AAC, OGG, ALAC, MQA, and more.
  • MQA Playback: The M6 Ultra supports 16X MQA unfolding, allowing you to enjoy Master Quality Authenticated audio files at their full resolution.

3. Bluetooth Connectivity

The M6 Ultra features Bluetooth 5.0 with support for various high-quality codecs for both transmitting and receiving audio.

  • Pairing: Go to Settings > Connected devices > Bluetooth. Turn on Bluetooth and select 'Pair new device' to connect to your Bluetooth headphones or speakers.

4. Wi-Fi Connectivity
