5.1 Power Connection

Connect the device you wish to control to the 'Relay Load' terminals. Each channel provides Normally Open (NO), Common (COM), and Normally Closed (NC) connections. For most switching applications, you will connect your load between the COM and NO terminals.

5.3 Zigbee Hub Requirement

This smart relay module requires a Zigbee hub (not included) to function as a smart device. Compatible hubs include Tuya Smart Bridge, Amazon Hub, Samsung SmartThings Hub, Philips Hue Hub, and Amazon Echo devices with built-in Zigbee hubs (e.g., Echo Plus 2nd Gen, Echo Plus, Echo Show 2nd Gen, Echo Studio).

5.4 Pairing with Zigbee Hub

1. Ensure your Zigbee hub is powered on and in pairing mode. Refer to your hub's instruction manual for specific pairing mode activation steps.
2. Power on the Newgoal Zigbee Relay Module.
3. Press and hold one of the Manual Buttons (e.g., Manual button 1) on the relay module for approximately 5-10 seconds until the Network indicator (Red light) begins to flash rapidly. This indicates the module is in Zigbee pairing mode.
4. Once the hub detects the device, follow the on-screen prompts in your smart home app (e.g., Tuya Smart Life app) to complete the pairing process. The network indicator light will stop flashing and remain solid once successfully paired.

5.5 Pairing the 433MHz RF Remote Control

The included 433MHz RF remote control can be paired with the relay module for local control.

1. Press and hold the corresponding RF Pairing Button (e.g., RF pairing button 1 for channel 1) on the relay module until the RF pairing indicator (Blue light) illuminates.
2. While the blue light is on, press any button on the 433MHz RF remote control. The blue light will flash to confirm successful pairing.
3. Repeat for the second channel if desired, using RF pairing button 2.

6. Operating Modes

The module supports three distinct operating modes, which can be selected using the Working Modes Toggle Button:

• Jog Mode (Momentary): In this mode, the relay will turn on for a set duration (default 1 second, configurable from 1 second to 1 hour) and then automatically turn off. This is suitable for applications like momentary button presses or garage door openers.
• Self-locking Mode (Toggle): Each channel operates independently. Pressing the button (manual, remote, or app) will toggle the relay state (ON to OFF, or OFF to ON). This is ideal for controlling lights or other devices that require a persistent ON/OFF state.
• Interlock Mode (Latching): When one channel is activated, all other channels will automatically turn off. This mode is useful for applications where only one device should be active at a time, such as controlling different directions of a motor.

Switching Modes
