1. Product Overview

The YMOO Bluetooth 5.3 Transmitter Receiver (Model RT5013, also referred to as B06T2) is a versatile 2-in-1 audio adapter designed to enhance your audio experience. Equipped with a Bluetooth 5.3 chip and a Qualcomm control chip, it supports various audio coding protocols including SBC, MP3, AAC, aptX, aptX-LL, aptX-HD, and aptX-Adaptive, ensuring high-fidelity stereo sound quality.

This compact device functions as both a transmitter (TX) and a receiver (RX), allowing you to connect non-Bluetooth devices to Bluetooth headphones or speakers, and vice-versa. Its aptX-LL (Low Latency) technology ensures audio and video synchronization, making it ideal for watching TV or gaming.

The RT5013 features a convenient one-button reset function to clear pairing history and a dual-link capability to connect two headphones simultaneously. With a built-in battery, it offers portability for various indoor and outdoor uses, including car audio systems, airplanes, and gyms.

4. Setup and Operation

4.1. Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge the YMOO RT5013. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the device's charging port and the other end to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter). The device can be used continuously for approximately 12 hours in receiver mode and 13 hours in transmitting mode after a 1.5-hour charge.

4.2. Switching Between TX (Transmitter) and RX (Receiver) Modes

The RT5013 features a physical switch to toggle between Transmitter (TX) and Receiver (RX) modes. Ensure the device is in the correct mode for your intended use.

4.3. TX (Transmitter) Mode Setup

In TX mode, the RT5013 transmits audio from non-Bluetooth devices (e.g., TV, airplane entertainment systems, PC) to your Bluetooth headphones or earbuds.

1. Switch the device to TX mode using the side switch.
2. Connect the RT5013 to the audio output (3.5mm jack) of your non-Bluetooth device.
3. Long press the power button on the RT5013 for 2 seconds to turn it on. The indicator light will flash red and blue, indicating it's in pairing mode.
4. Put your Bluetooth headphones into pairing mode.
5. Bring the RT5013 close to your headphones. Once successfully paired, the indicator light on the RT5013 will turn solid blue.

4.4. RX (Receiver) Mode Setup

In RX mode, the RT5013 receives audio from your Bluetooth-enabled smartphone or laptop and outputs it to wired speakers or car audio systems.

1. Switch the device to RX mode using the side switch.
2. Connect the RT5013 to the audio input (3.5mm jack) of your wired speaker or car audio system.
3. Long press the power button on the RT5013 for 2 seconds to turn it on. The indicator light will flash red and blue, indicating it's in pairing mode.
4. On your smartphone or laptop, enable Bluetooth and search for "B06T2".
5. Select "B06T2" to connect. Once successfully paired, the indicator light on the RT5013 will turn solid blue.

4.5. Pairing with AirPods (TX Mode Example)

This section provides specific steps for pairing your AirPods with the YMOO RT5013 in TX mode.

1. Ensure the B06T2 is in TX mode and enter pairing. Long press the power button to turn on the device, then long press the power button again to enter into pairing mode (Red and blue flashing).
2. Turn on your AirPods and go to pairing mode. There is a white button on the back of your AirPods case; long press this button until the AirPods light blinks white.
3. Bring the B06T2 close to the AirPods until the B06T2 blue light is solid, indicating a successful pairing connection.

Note: If you are unable to establish a pairing connection after a long time, try switching the B06T2 and AirPods on and off again.

4.6. Dual Headphone Connection (TX Mode)

The YMOO RT5013 supports connecting two wireless headphones simultaneously in TX mode.

1. First, pair one headphone with the RT5013 as described in the TX mode setup.
2. Once the first headphone is connected, press the power button on the RT5013 again to enter pairing mode for the second headphone.
3. Put the second Bluetooth headphone into pairing mode.
4. Bring the RT5013 close to the second headphone. Once both are successfully paired, the indicator light will turn purple.

4.7. Changing Audio Decoding Modes

The RT5013 supports various audio coding protocols, each indicated by a different color on the device's LED indicator. You can cycle through these modes by clicking the power button.

• Green: aptX-HD
• White: aptX-Low Latency (aptX-LL)
• Blue: SBC
• Yellow: aptX-Adaptive

Note: For aptX modes (aptX, aptX-LL, aptX-HD, aptX-Adaptive) to function, your connected receiving device (headphones/speakers) must also support the corresponding aptX codec.

5. Troubleshooting

• No Audio/Disconnection: If you experience disconnections or no audio, ensure the device is fully charged and within the 60ft transmission range. Try resetting the device by long-pressing the RESET button for 2 seconds to clear all pairing history and re-enter pairing mode. This often resolves 90% of matching problems.
• Audio Delay/Latency:
  • The RT5013 supports aptX-LL for low latency (<36ms). For true picture and sound synchronization, both the RT5013 and your Bluetooth headphones must support aptX-LL.
  • We do not recommend using the B06T2 to watch TV if your Bluetooth headsets do not support aptX low latency, or if your headsets are AirPods Pro/Gen/Max, Bose, or some Sony models, as there might be a significant delay.
  • When connecting with two Bluetooth headsets, it is recommended for listening to music, but not suitable for watching TV as it would also cause ultra-high latency.
• Compatibility Issues:
  • The B06T2 is not suitable for AirPods Pro/AirPods Gen/AirPods Max, some Sony Bluetooth headsets (e.g., 1000mx4), and music instruments such as guitar or electronic pianos.
  • For musical instruments like electronic pianos and guitars, 2.4G transmission is typically required for audio synchronization, which Bluetooth devices cannot provide due to protocol limitations and smaller transmission channels.

6. Important Notes and Warnings

• Always ensure the RT5013 is set to the correct mode (TX or RX) before attempting to pair with other devices.
• For optimal audio quality and low latency, ensure your connected Bluetooth headphones or speakers support the same aptX codecs as the RT5013.
• The device is not designed for real-time music transmission with instruments like electronic pianos or guitars due to Bluetooth protocol limitations.
• Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures, moisture, or direct sunlight.
• Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the device, as this will void the warranty and may cause damage.
