Setup
Initial Preparation
- Unpack: Carefully remove the timer switch from its packaging.
- Initial Charge: Before first use, plug the timer into a live power outlet for at least 30 minutes to charge the internal backup battery. This ensures settings are retained during power outages.
- Reset: If the display is blank or shows abnormal characters, or if you wish to clear all previous settings, insert a small, non-metallic pointed object (like a toothpick) into the "R" (Reset) hole and press the button firmly. The display will show "0:00" and all programs will be cleared.

Operating Instructions
1. Setting the Current Time
- Press and hold the CLOCK button.
- While holding CLOCK, press the WEEK button repeatedly until the correct day of the week is displayed (MO, TU, WE, TH, FR, SA, SU).
- While holding CLOCK, press the HOUR button repeatedly until the correct hour is displayed.
- While holding CLOCK, press the MIN button repeatedly until the correct minute is displayed.
- Release the CLOCK button. The current time is now set.
2. Programming ON/OFF Times
The timer allows up to 20 ON/OFF programs. Each program consists of an ON time and an OFF time.
- Press the PROG button once. The display will show "1 ON" and "0:00". This is your first ON program.
- Press the WEEK button to select the desired day(s) for this program. Options include:
- Individual days (MO, TU, WE, etc.)
- Groups of days (MO TU WE TH FR SA SU, MO TU WE TH FR, SA SU, MO TU WE TH FR SA, MO WE FR, TU TH SA, MO TU WE, TH FR SA, MO WE FR SU)
- Press the HOUR button to set the desired hour for "1 ON".
- Press the MIN button to set the desired minute for "1 ON".
- Press the PROG button again. The display will show "1 OFF" and "0:00". This is your first OFF program.
- Repeat steps 2-4 to set the day(s), hour, and minute for "1 OFF".
- Press the PROG button to cycle through and set additional programs (2 ON, 2 OFF, etc.) up to 20 programs.
- After setting all desired programs, press the CLOCK button to return to the current time display.
- Ensure the timer is in AUTO mode for programs to run. Press MANUAL repeatedly until "AUTO" is displayed.

3. Using the Random Function (RND)
The Random function is useful for simulating presence when you are away, by randomly switching connected lights or appliances ON/OFF within a set period.
- Press the RND button. "RND" will appear on the display.
- In Random mode, the timer will turn ON and OFF randomly within a window of 10-31 minutes between 6:00 PM and 5:59 AM.
- To deactivate the Random function, press the RND button again. "RND" will disappear from the display.

4. Using the Countdown Function
The Countdown function allows you to set a specific duration for the connected appliance to remain ON or OFF.
- Press the PROG button until you reach the countdown setting (usually after all 20 programs). The display might show "CD ON" or "CD OFF".
- Use the HOUR and MIN buttons to set the desired countdown duration.
- Press MANUAL to activate the countdown. The timer will count down and then switch the appliance accordingly.
- To cancel, press MANUAL again or reset the timer.
5. Manual Override (ON/AUTO/OFF)
You can manually switch the timer's output between ON, AUTO, and OFF modes.
- Press the MANUAL button repeatedly to cycle through the modes:
- ON: The connected appliance will remain ON continuously, overriding all programs.
- AUTO: The timer will follow the programmed ON/OFF times. This is the standard operating mode.
- OFF: The connected appliance will remain OFF continuously, overriding all programs.
6. Daylight Saving Time (DST) Adjustment
To adjust the time for Daylight Saving (Summer/Winter Time):
- Press the +1h button once. The display will show "+1h" and the time will advance by one hour.
- Press the +1h button again to revert to standard time. The "+1h" indicator will disappear.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Unplug the timer from the power outlet before cleaning. Wipe the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the device in water.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the timer in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Battery Life: The internal backup battery is designed for long life. If the display frequently goes blank or settings are lost, ensure the timer is regularly plugged in to charge the battery.
