Designed for versatility and performance, the R100 features Gateron G Pro 3.0 Yellow Switches, tri-mode connectivity, customizable RGB lighting, and hot-swappable switch sockets. Connectivity Modes

The R100 keyboard supports three connectivity modes: Bluetooth 5.0, 2.4GHz Wireless (via USB dongle), and Wired (USB-C). This allows connection to up to 5 devices simultaneously (3 Bluetooth, 1 2.4GHz, 1 Wired).

1. 2.4GHz Wireless: Insert the 2.4GHz USB receiver into an available USB port on your device. The keyboard will automatically connect.
2. Bluetooth:
   • Toggle the switch on the keyboard to Bluetooth mode.
   • Press and hold Fn + Q/W/E to enter pairing mode for Bluetooth Channel 1/2/3. The indicator light will flash rapidly.
   • On your device, search for Bluetooth devices and select 'ROYALAXE R100' to pair.
   • Once connected, the indicator light will become solid.
3. Wired (USB-C): Connect the provided USB-C cable from the keyboard to your device's USB port. The keyboard will function as a wired device and charge simultaneously.

Battery and Charging

The R100 is equipped with a 3000 mAh battery. To charge, connect the USB-C cable to the keyboard and a power source. The battery indicator will show charging status. A full charge provides up to 250 hours of standby time with RGB lights off, or 10 hours with RGB lights on.

Operating System Compatibility

The keyboard is compatible with Windows and Mac operating systems. Use the dedicated switch in the upper right corner to easily toggle between Windows and Mac layouts.

Operating Instructions

Gateron G Pro 3.0 Yellow Switches

The R100 features pre-lubricated Gateron G Pro 3.0 Yellow switches, providing a smooth and consistent linear typing experience. These switches are designed for durability with a lifespan of up to 100 million keystrokes.

Incredible Typing Experience

Beyond the switches, the R100 incorporates a sound dampeners sheet and specially tuned stabilizers to deliver a quiet and satisfying typing experience with linear feedback. The keyboard also supports full-key anti-ghosting (N-key rollover) for accurate and responsive input.

RGB Lighting Effects

The R100 offers 16.8 million RGB lighting colors and 22 customizable effects. You can adjust brightness and select single-color modes. Four additional preset colors are available for download, and a 'Music Follow' mode is available in Windows systems.

Control Knob

The golden knob located in the top-right corner of the keyboard allows for convenient switching between connected devices (Bluetooth channels, 2.4GHz, Wired).

PBT Double Shot Keycaps

The keyboard is equipped with double-shot PBT keycaps, which are highly durable, oil-resistant, and wear-resistant, ensuring the legends do not fade over time and providing a premium tactile feel.

Maintenance

Cleaning

To clean your keyboard, disconnect it from all power sources. Use a soft, lint-free cloth dampened with a small amount of water or a mild cleaning solution. For deeper cleaning, you may remove the keycaps using the provided key puller and clean the switches and plate with compressed air.

Hot-Swappable Switches

The R100 features 5-pin hot-swappable sockets, allowing you to easily change switches without soldering. Use the included switch puller to gently remove existing switches and insert new 3-pin or 5-pin compatible switches (e.g., Gateron, TTC, Kaih).

Troubleshooting

• Keyboard not responding: Ensure the keyboard is charged and properly connected (wired, 2.4GHz dongle, or Bluetooth paired). Try restarting the keyboard or your device.
• Bluetooth connection issues: Ensure the keyboard is in pairing mode (Fn + Q/W/E) and your device's Bluetooth is enabled. Remove previous pairings and try re-pairing.
• RGB lights not working/customizing: Check the keyboard's lighting controls (refer to quick guide for specific key combinations). Ensure 'Music Follow' mode is only used on Windows systems.
• Keys not registering: If specific keys are not working, ensure the switch is properly seated in its socket. If the issue persists, try replacing the switch with one of the spare switches provided.
• Firmware remapping issues: If you have remapped keys using software and encounter issues, use the reset option within the software.
