Product Overview

The OLUMAT Keyless Entry Fingerprint Door Lock offers multiple secure access methods for your home, office, or rental property. This smart lock integrates fingerprint recognition, keypad entry, fob access, mobile app control, and traditional physical keys for ultimate convenience and security.

Setup and Installation

What's in the Box

Before beginning installation, verify all components are present:

• Front Panel (with fingerprint sensor and keypad)
• Back Panel (with battery compartment)

Tools Needed

• Phillips head screwdriver (x1)
• AA Batteries (x4, not included)

Door Compatibility and Measurements

Ensure your door meets the following specifications:

• Door Thickness: 1.30" - 1.97" (33mm - 50mm)
• Bore Hole Diameter: 2.13" (54mm)
• Bore Hole Backset: 2.36" or 2.76" (60mm or 70mm)

Note: This lock may interfere with existing screen doors or storm doors due to its handle size. No additional drilling is required to install this door lock if replacing an old one.

Installation Steps

For a detailed visual guide on installation, please refer to the official installation video below. It is strongly recommended to install the lock with the door open or ajar, and do not close the door until batteries are inserted.

1. Adjust Latch Bolt: Adjust the bolt length to 2.36" or 2.76" to center the spindle hole in the door bore hole.
2. Install Latch Bolt: Slide the bolt into the door and secure it with screws. Ensure the spindle hole is squarely straight to the ground.
3. Install Front Panel: Slide the lock spindle and wire connector through the door.
4. Install Mounting Plate: Slide the mounting plate over the wire connector and thread the wire through. Secure the mounting plate with screws.
5. Install Back Panel: Connect the wire connector from the front panel to the back panel. Ensure the cable line is under the studs to prevent pinching. Secure the back panel with screws.
6. Install Batteries: Unscrew the battery box cover on the back panel and insert 4 AA batteries. Secure the cover.
7. Install Handles: Loosen the handle screws on both the inside and outside levers. Slip the outside handle onto the knob in either direction to fit your door and secure the screw. Repeat for the inside handle.

Operating Instructions

Unlocking Methods

The OLUMAT Smart Lock offers multiple convenient ways to unlock your door:

• Fingerprint: Built-in quick and secure fingerprint sensor unlocks your door in 1 second.
• Passcode: Use the keypad to enter your personalized passcode.
• Fobs: Tap the included fobs against the lock's sensor for quick entry.
• App: Control the lock remotely via the OLUMAT Home app.
• Physical Keys: Traditional key access is available as a backup.

Auto-Lock Feature

The auto-lock feature automatically secures your door after it closes, providing peace of mind in case you forget to lock it manually.

Remote Control and App Features

If paired with an optional OLUMAT WiFi Gateway (sold separately), you can:

• Lock/unlock your smart door lock anytime, anywhere.

One-Time Passcodes

Easily generate and share one-time passcodes with visitors, ensuring controlled access without compromising your primary security.

Anti-Peeping Passcode

Enhance security by entering random digits before or after your actual passcode. The lock will still recognize the correct sequence within the longer string of numbers, preventing others from guessing your code by observing your input.

Maintenance

Battery Replacement

The lock is powered by 4 AA batteries. When the battery level is low, the lock will provide a warning. Replace batteries promptly to ensure continuous operation. To replace, unscrew the battery box cover on the back panel, remove old batteries, insert new ones, and secure the cover.

General Care

Clean the lock's surface with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the polished zinc finish. Ensure the fingerprint sensor and keypad are free from dirt or debris for optimal performance.

Environmental Suitability

The lock is designed for outdoor usage and is suitable for various environments, with an IP65 rating. It can withstand temperatures from -4°F to 158°F.

Troubleshooting

Resetting the Lock

If you encounter issues or need to clear all settings, you can reset the lock. Refer to the official video for detailed instructions on the reset process.

Common Issues

• Fingerprint Recognition Failure: Ensure your finger is clean and dry. Try re-registering your fingerprint if issues persist.
• App Connectivity Problems: Verify your WiFi Gateway is properly set up and within range. Check your internet connection and ensure the app is updated to the latest version.
• Lock Not Responding: Check battery levels and replace if necessary. Ensure the lock is properly installed and all cables are securely connected.
