2. Safety Information
- Power Source: Use only the power adapter supplied with the monitor. Ensure the power outlet is properly grounded.
- Ventilation: Do not block ventilation openings. Allow adequate space around the monitor for proper airflow.
- Liquid Exposure: Keep the monitor away from liquids. Do not expose it to rain or moisture.
- Cleaning: Disconnect the power cord before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.

4. Setup
4.1 Assembling the Monitor Stand
- Carefully place the monitor face down on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
- Attach the stand neck to the back of the monitor, aligning the mounting holes. Secure with screws if provided.
- Attach the stand base to the bottom of the stand neck. Secure with the thumb screw or screws provided.
- Carefully lift the assembled monitor and place it on a stable desk.

4.2 Connecting to a Computer
The MSI G27C4 E2 monitor supports both HDMI and DisplayPort connections.
- Ensure both the monitor and your computer are powered off.
- Connect one end of the HDMI or DisplayPort cable to the corresponding port on your computer's graphics card.
- Connect the other end of the cable to the HDMI (1.4b) or DisplayPort (1.2a) input on the monitor.
- Connect the power adapter to the monitor's DC Jack, then plug the power cord into a power outlet.

4.3 VESA Wall Mounting
The monitor is VESA mount compatible (100x100mm). To wall mount the monitor, remove the stand and attach a VESA-compatible wall mount bracket (sold separately) to the mounting holes on the back of the monitor. Ensure the wall mount can support the weight of the monitor.
5. Operating the Monitor
5.1 Power On/Off
Press the power button, usually located on the bottom right or rear of the monitor, to turn the monitor on or off. The power indicator light will illuminate when the monitor is on.
5.2 On-Screen Display (OSD) Menu
The OSD menu allows you to adjust various monitor settings. Typically, a joystick or a series of buttons on the back or bottom of the monitor controls the OSD.
- Navigation: Use the joystick or buttons to navigate through the menu options.
- Selection: Press the joystick or a dedicated button to select an option.
- Exit: Move the joystick left or press an 'Exit' button to go back or exit the menu.

5.4 Tilt Adjustment
The monitor allows for tilt adjustment to find your optimal viewing angle. Gently hold both sides of the monitor and tilt it forwards or backwards. Do not apply excessive force.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning the Screen
To clean the screen, gently wipe it with a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn marks, lightly dampen the cloth with water or a screen-specific cleaning solution. Never spray liquid directly onto the screen.
6.2 Cleaning the Exterior
Wipe the monitor's exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the finish.
7. Troubleshooting
- No Power: Ensure the power cord is securely connected to both the monitor and the power outlet. Check if the power outlet is functioning.
- No Signal: Verify that the video cable (HDMI/DisplayPort) is securely connected to both the monitor and the computer. Ensure the correct input source is selected in the monitor's OSD menu.
- Flickering Screen: Check the video cable for damage. Ensure your graphics card drivers are up to date. Try adjusting the refresh rate in your computer's display settings.
