Setup

Initial Setup

The Logitech MX Keys Mini keyboard offers flexible connectivity options: Bluetooth Low Energy or the Logi Bolt USB Receiver.

Connecting via Bluetooth Low Energy:

  1. Ensure the keyboard is charged. Connect the USB-C cable to the keyboard and a power source if needed.
  2. Turn on the keyboard using the power switch located on the top right edge.
  3. Press and hold one of the Easy-Switch keys (1, 2, or 3) until the LED light on the key starts blinking rapidly. This indicates the keyboard is in pairing mode.
  4. On your computer or device, open Bluetooth settings and select "MX Keys Mini" from the list of available devices to pair.
  5. Follow any on-screen prompts to complete the pairing process. The LED on the Easy-Switch key will turn solid for 5 seconds and then dim once connected.

Connecting via Logi Bolt USB Receiver:

  1. Locate the Logi Bolt USB Receiver included in the package.
  2. Plug the Logi Bolt USB Receiver into an available USB-A port on your computer.
  3. Turn on the keyboard using the power switch. The keyboard should automatically detect and connect to the receiver.
  4. If the connection is not established automatically, you may need to use the Logitech Options software (available for Windows and macOS) to pair the keyboard with the receiver.

The MX Keys Mini keyboard is equipped with a rechargeable LiPo battery. To charge, connect the included USB-C cable to the USB-C port on the keyboard and the other end to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter). A full charge can last up to 10 days with backlighting on, or up to 5 months with backlighting off. Battery life may vary based on usage.

Cleaning

To clean your keyboard, gently wipe the surface with a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive materials, or excessive moisture, as these can damage the keyboard's finish or internal components.
