1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the NCVI Baby Milk Warmer. This device is designed to simplify feeding preparation with its multi-functional capabilities, including fast warming, food warming, defrosting, and steam sterilizing. Please read this manual thoroughly before first use to ensure proper operation and safety.

2. Important Safety Instructions

Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury.

  • Read all instructions before use.
  • Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
  • To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plugs, or the appliance in water or other liquid.
  • Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children. Keep away from children.
  • Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts.
  • Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.
  • The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.
  • Do not use outdoors.
  • Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
  • Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
  • Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
  • Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to 'off', then remove plug from wall outlet.
  • Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
  • This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.

4. Setup

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, clean the basket and lid with warm soapy water. Wipe the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water.
  3. Placement: Place the warmer on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, away from direct sunlight or heat sources. Ensure adequate ventilation.
  4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet (120V~, 60Hz).

5. Operating Instructions

The NCVI Baby Milk Warmer features an intuitive touch screen control panel for easy operation.

5.1 General Operation

  1. Power On/Off: Press the Power button (Power icon) to turn the device on or off.
  2. Select Function: Press the M (Mode) button to cycle through the available functions: Fast Warming, Food Warming, Defrosting, and Sterilize.
  3. Adjust Time/Temperature: Use the + and - buttons to adjust the time or temperature settings for the selected mode.
  4. Memory Function: The device retains the last used settings for each mode, simplifying repeated use.

5.2 Specific Functions

Ensure the water level is appropriate for the selected function. For most warming and sterilizing functions, fill the water reservoir with distilled water up to the indicated line, or enough to cover the bottom of the bottle/bag.

5.2.1 Fast Warming (Fast warming icon)

This mode quickly heats milk to an optimal feeding temperature.

  • Place the bottle or breast milk bag into the basket and then into the warmer.
  • Add water to the reservoir, ensuring it reaches the appropriate level for the bottle size.
  • Select the Fast Warming mode.
  • Adjust the warming time (typically 1-8 minutes) and target temperature (default 104°F/40°C).
  • The warmer will beep 6 times and automatically power off when the cycle is complete.

Note: Warming time varies with milk volume, initial temperature, and bottle material. Extend heating time for refrigerated milk.

5.2.2 Food Warming (Food warming icon)

This mode is suitable for gently warming baby food jars or pouches and can maintain a constant temperature.

  • Place the baby food container into the basket.
  • Add water to the reservoir.
  • Select the Food Warming mode.
  • Adjust the desired temperature (range 140-195°F / 60-90°C). The warmer will maintain this temperature.

5.2.3 Defrosting (Defrosting icon)

Safely defrosts frozen breast milk or baby food.

  • Place the frozen breast milk bag or food container into the basket.
  • Add water to the reservoir.
  • Select the Defrosting mode.
  • Adjust the desired temperature (range 77-113°F / 25-45°C). The warmer will maintain this temperature for gentle defrosting.

5.2.4 Sterilize (Sterilize icon)

Uses high-temperature steam to sterilize bottles, pacifiers, and small accessories.

  • Place clean bottles, pacifiers, or accessories upside down in the basket.
  • Add approximately 100ml of distilled water to the reservoir.
  • Select the Sterilize mode.
  • Adjust the sterilizing time (range 8-12 minutes). The steam temperature reaches 212°F/100°C.
  • The warmer will beep 6 times and automatically power off when the cycle is complete.

5.3 Auto Shut-Off Feature

The NCVI Baby Milk Warmer is equipped with an auto shut-off design for dry-burning situations, enhancing safety by automatically turning off if the water level becomes too low during operation.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

  1. Always unplug the warmer and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Remove the basket and lid. Wash them with warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly.
  3. Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the main unit in water.
  4. Dry all parts completely before reassembly or storage.

6.2 Descaling

Mineral deposits (limescale) can build up in the heating plate over time, especially with hard water. Regular descaling is recommended to maintain efficiency.

  1. Ensure the warmer is unplugged and cool.
  2. Mix 10g of citric acid (or white vinegar) with 100ml of water.
  3. Pour the solution into the heating plate area.
  4. Allow the solution to soak for 30 minutes to 1 hour, or until the scale dissolves. For stubborn scale, you may gently scrub with a soft brush.
  5. Pour out the solution and rinse the heating plate thoroughly with clean water several times to remove any residue.
  6. Wipe dry.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your NCVI Baby Milk Warmer, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
