6. Operating Instructions

The Essebagno Quartos shower column features a thermostatic mixer for precise temperature control and multiple water outlets.

6.1 Temperature Control

  • The right handle controls the water temperature. Rotate it to adjust.
  • A safety stop is typically set at 38°C (100°F) to prevent accidental scalding. To exceed this temperature, press the safety button (often a small button on the handle) and continue rotating.
  • For colder water, rotate the handle in the opposite direction.

7. Maintenance

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Essebagno Quartos shower column.

  • Cleaning: Clean the shower column regularly with a soft cloth and mild soap or a non-abrasive bathroom cleaner. Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive sponges, or scouring agents, as these can damage the brushed finish.
  • Shower Head Nozzles: Periodically check the nozzles on both the main shower head and hand shower for limescale buildup. Most modern shower heads have flexible silicone nozzles that can be easily cleaned by gently rubbing them to dislodge mineral deposits.
  • Thermostatic Cartridge: If you notice inconsistent temperature control, the thermostatic cartridge may need cleaning or replacement. This is typically a task for a qualified plumber.
  • Hose Inspection: Inspect the PVC hose for any signs of wear, cracks, or leaks. Replace if necessary.
