Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Shark HyperAIR HD101, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Dryer does not turn on. | Not plugged in; power outlet issue; internal safety shut-off activated. | Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet. Check your circuit breaker. Unplug the dryer, wait 5 minutes, then plug it back in. |
| Low airflow or reduced drying power. | Air intake filter is blocked with lint or hair. | Unplug the dryer and clean the air intake filter as described in the Maintenance section. |
| Dryer overheats and shuts off. | Blocked air intake/outlet; prolonged use; internal safety mechanism. | This unit has an auto shut-off and heat protection feature. Unplug the dryer and allow it to cool down for at least 30 minutes. Clean the air filter. Ensure air vents are not blocked during use. |
