1. Introduction and Product Overview

The GLAKER Electric Rotary Shaver GLS03 is designed for efficient and comfortable grooming. This comprehensive kit includes the electric shaver, a nose/ear hair trimmer, a soft toiletry bag, a cleaning brush, a USB charging cord, and two protective caps. The shaver features a 3D rotary head with 5-directional flex and floating blades for a smooth shave that adapts to facial contours, minimizing nicks and irritation. It also includes a pop-up trimmer for precise detailing.

The shaver is IPX6 waterproof, allowing for both wet and dry shaving. The nose/ear hair trimmer operates on an AA battery and is suitable for dry use only. The electric shaver is equipped with a fast-charging battery, providing 90 minutes of cordless use after a 1.5-hour charge, with an LCD screen displaying the remaining battery percentage.

3. Setup

3.1 Initial Charging

1. Connect the provided USB charging cord to the shaver's charging port.
2. Plug the other end of the USB cord into a 5V/1A AC adapter (not included) or a compatible USB power source.
3. The LCD screen on the shaver will display the charging progress. A full charge takes approximately 1.5 hours.
4. Once fully charged (100% displayed), disconnect the shaver from the power source.

3.2 Nose/Ear Hair Trimmer Battery Installation

The nose/ear hair trimmer requires one AA battery (not included).

1. Twist the bottom cap of the trimmer counter-clockwise to open the battery compartment.
2. Insert one AA battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
3. Replace the bottom cap and twist clockwise to secure.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Using the Electric Rotary Shaver

The shaver can be used for both wet and dry shaving.

• Dry Shaving: Ensure your face is clean and dry. Press the power button to turn on the shaver. Gently move the shaver in small circular motions over your face and neck.
• Wet Shaving: Apply shaving foam or gel to your face. Press the power button to turn on the shaver. Move the shaver in small circular motions. Rinse the shaver head under running water during and after use to prevent clogging.

The 5-directional flex and floating heads will adapt to your facial contours for an effective shave.

4.2 Using the Pop-up Trimmer

The integrated pop-up trimmer is ideal for precise edging of sideburns, mustaches, and beards.

1. With the shaver turned on, locate the pop-up trimmer switch on the back of the shaver.
2. Slide the switch upwards to engage the trimmer.
3. Use the trimmer to define lines and edges.
4. Slide the switch downwards to retract the trimmer when finished.

4.3 Using the Nose/Ear Hair Trimmer

The nose/ear hair trimmer is designed for dry use only.

1. Ensure the trimmer has a fresh AA battery installed.
2. Turn on the trimmer by sliding the power switch.
3. Gently insert the trimmer tip into your nostril or ear canal.
4. Move the trimmer in a circular motion to trim unwanted hair.
5. Turn off the trimmer after use.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning the Electric Rotary Shaver

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and hygiene.

1. Turn off the shaver and disconnect it from any charging cable.
2. Press the release button to open the shaver head assembly.
3. Rinse the shaver head thoroughly under running water. For a deeper clean, you can detach the individual rotary blades.
4. Use the provided cleaning brush to remove any stubborn hair clippings from the blades and the shaver body.
5. Allow the shaver head to air dry completely before closing it or reattaching it to the shaver body.

5.2 Cleaning the Nose/Ear Hair Trimmer

1. Turn off the trimmer.
2. Twist the trimmer head counter-clockwise to remove it.
3. Rinse the trimmer head under running water. The trimmer body is not waterproof.
4. Use the cleaning brush to remove any hair from the trimmer head and the trimmer body.
5. Allow the trimmer head to air dry completely before reattaching it.

5.3 Blade Replacement

For continued optimal performance, it is recommended to replace the shaver blades and foil every 12 months, or sooner if you notice a decrease in shaving efficiency or increased irritation. Replacement parts can be purchased from authorized GLAKER retailers.
