4. Setup and Assembly

Assembly requires at least two people due to the size and weight of the components. A rubber hammer and screwdriver are needed. Follow the manual strictly to ensure proper assembly for waterproofing and durability.

1. Prepare Panels: Lay out all panels on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
2. Insert Metal Channels: Slide the two metal reinforcement channels into the designated slots on the long side panels. Ensure the flat side of the channels faces upwards.
3. Assemble Side Walls: Snap one front/back panel into one side panel. Repeat for the other front/back and side panel. The panels are designed to snap together easily.
4. Attach Bottom Panel: Stand the partially assembled box upright. Align the bottom panel and snap it into place along the three connected sides. You may need to gently bend the side walls outwards to secure the bottom panel.
5. Secure Corners: In the top of each corner, there is a pre-drilled hole. Insert and screw in the provided screws to lock the main structure together.
6. Attach Gas Struts to Lid: Place the lid upside down. Attach the two hydraulic gas struts to the designated points on the lid using the provided screws (two screws per strut).
7. Attach Plastic Hinge Brackets: Pop the plastic hinge brackets onto the same side of the lid where the gas struts are attached.
8. Attach Metal Locking Bracket: Slide the metal locking bracket onto the front of the box, centered. Secure it with one screw through the pre-drilled hole in the back of the bracket.
9. Mount Lid to Box: Flip the lid over and align the brackets with the corresponding points on the box. Use the remaining screws to secure the gas struts and plastic hinge brackets to the box.
