2. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your Dometic GO Hydration Water Faucet for first use:

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that all parts are present: the faucet unit, the water hose, the metal puck, and the charging cable.
  2. Initial Charging: Before first use, fully charge the faucet's internal battery. Connect the provided charging cable to the charging port on the faucet and to a suitable USB power source. The LED indicator will show charging status. A full charge provides power to dispense up to 150 liters of water.
  3. Connecting the Water Hose: Insert one end of the 22.5-inch food-grade silicone hose firmly into the inlet port at the base of the faucet. Place the other end of the hose into your water container. Ensure the hose reaches the bottom of the container for optimal water draw.
  4. Faucet Placement: The faucet can be placed directly on a flat surface or secured using the included accessories:
    • Magnetic Base: The faucet features a magnetic base, allowing it to attach securely to any ferrous metal surface.
    • Metal Puck: For non-magnetic surfaces, place the included metal puck on your desired location. The faucet's magnetic base will then attach to the puck, providing a stable platform.
  5. Priming the System: After placing the hose in water, activate the faucet to draw water through the hose and prime the pump. It may take a few seconds for water to flow consistently during the first use or after the hose has been disconnected.

  • Turning On: To begin water flow, double-tap the touch-sensitive button on the top of the faucet. The integrated LED light will illuminate, and water will start dispensing.
  • Turning Off: To stop water flow, single-tap the touch-sensitive button. The water flow will cease, and the LED light will turn off.
  • Automatic Shutoff: For water conservation, the faucet is equipped with an automatic shutoff feature. It will automatically stop dispensing water after approximately 1 minute of continuous operation or once approximately 1 liter of water has been dispensed. To continue dispensing, simply double-tap the button again.
  • LED Light: The integrated LED light provides illumination for nighttime or low-light use, enhancing visibility when dispensing water. It activates automatically when the faucet is turned on.

  • Cleaning the Faucet: Wipe the exterior of the faucet with a damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the finish.
  • Cleaning the Hose: Regularly flush the water hose with clean water. For thorough cleaning, detach the hose and wash it with mild soap and water, then rinse thoroughly. Ensure it is completely dry before reattaching or storing.
  • Material Safety: The faucet and hose are constructed from BPA-free, food-grade materials, ensuring safe drinking water.
  • Storage: When not in use, ensure the faucet and hose are clean and dry. Store the unit in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
