1. Introduction

This manual provides essential information for the safe and effective operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your TACWISE JCN90V Air Coil Nail Gun. Please read this manual thoroughly before operating the tool to ensure proper use and to prevent injury or damage.

The JCN90V is a heavy-duty flat-top coil nailer designed for speed, reliability, and continuous nailing in various industrial and construction applications. It features an ergonomic, well-balanced magnesium alloy body with a cylindrical magazine drum and soft rubber grip for enhanced control.

2. Safety Information

Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, and gloves, when operating the nail gun. Ensure the work area is clear of obstructions and bystanders. Disconnect the air supply before performing any adjustments, maintenance, or when the tool is not in use.

• Never point the tool at yourself or others.
• Do not operate the tool if it is damaged or malfunctioning.
• Use only recommended fasteners (2.5 – 3.3 mm diameter, 50 - 90 mm long flat top coil nails).
• Maintain a firm grip on the tool during operation.
• Ensure the air compressor is set to the recommended operating pressure (70-120 PSI).

4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking and Inspection:

Carefully remove the nail gun and all accessories from the carry case. Verify that all components listed in the packaging are present: JCN90V nail gun, blow mould carry case, 4 x Hex Keys, Safety Glasses, Air tool oil, and this Manual. Inspect the tool for any signs of damage that may have occurred during shipping.

4.2 Connecting to Air Compressor:

The JCN90V requires an air compressor for operation (compressor not included). Ensure your air compressor is capable of delivering consistent pressure between 70-120 PSI.

1. Ensure the air compressor is turned off and depressurized.
2. Connect a suitable air hose to the air inlet fitting on the nail gun.
3. Turn on the air compressor and adjust the regulator to the desired operating pressure (70-120 PSI).
4. Check all connections for air leaks.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Loading Nails:

The JCN90V uses flat top coil nails with diameters of 2.5 – 3.3 mm and lengths of 50 - 90 mm. It is recommended to use Tacwise nails for optimal performance.

1. Open the magazine cover.
2. Place a coil of nails into the magazine drum, ensuring the nails are correctly oriented.
3. Feed the first few nails into the firing mechanism track.
4. Close the magazine cover securely.

5.2 Firing Modes:

The JCN90V offers two firing modes:

• Sequential Firing (Single Shot): For precise, individual nail placement. The trigger must be released and pressed for each nail.
• Contact Trip Firing (Bump): For rapid, repetitive nailing. Hold the trigger and press the contact tip against the workpiece to fire nails.

Refer to the tool's specific selector switch for changing between modes.

5.3 Depth Adjustment:

The depth control countersinking adjuster allows for precise flush nailing. Rotate the adjustment dial or lever (location varies by tool design, refer to tool diagram) to increase or decrease the nailing depth. Test on a scrap piece of material to achieve the desired depth before working on your project.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your JCN90V nail gun. Always disconnect the air supply before performing any maintenance.

6.1 Lubrication:

Apply a few drops of air tool oil (included) into the air inlet daily or before each use. This lubricates internal components and prevents corrosion.

6.2 Cleaning:

Keep the tool clean and free of debris. Periodically clean the nosepiece and magazine area to prevent nail jams. Use compressed air to blow out dust and small particles from the tool's vents and moving parts.

6.3 Storage:

When not in use, store the nail gun in its original carry case in a dry, clean environment, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
