5.2 Cleaning
To maintain optimal performance, regularly clean the mouse surface and optical sensor with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
6. Troubleshooting
6.1 Mouse Not Responding or Moving Slowly
- Check Battery: The battery may be low. Connect the mouse to the charging cable.
- Check Connection:
- For Wired Mode: Ensure the Type-C cable is securely connected to both the mouse and the computer.
- For 2.4G Wireless Mode: Ensure the USB receiver is properly plugged into a USB port and the mouse is switched to 2.4G mode. Try a different USB port.
- For Bluetooth Mode: Verify that Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the mouse is correctly paired and selected in your device's Bluetooth settings. Ensure the mouse is switched to BT mode.
- Surface Compatibility: The mouse may not work effectively on certain surfaces, particularly black fabric mouse pads or soft, uneven surfaces. Try using the mouse on a hard, flat surface or a dedicated mouse pad.
6.2 Programmable Buttons Not Working on macOS
The customization software for programmable buttons is not compatible with macOS due to system limitations. Basic mouse functions (left/right click, scroll, DPI adjustment) will still operate.
