4.2 Power Connection
- Ensure the main power switch on the rear panel is in the OFF position.
- Connect the provided input power cord to the power voltage input socket on the rear panel of the power supply.
- Plug the other end of the input power cord into a suitable AC power outlet (110V input voltage is supported).
4.3 Output Connection
Connect your load to the output terminals on the front panel using the provided output power cord (test leads). Ensure correct polarity: red to positive (+) and black to negative (-).
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Powering On and Initial Setup
- After connecting the power supply as described in Section 4, turn on the main power switch on the rear panel. The display will illuminate.
- The unit may default to an "Output ON" state. It is recommended to press the OUTPUT button on the front panel to turn the output OFF before connecting any sensitive loads. The indicator light next to the OUTPUT button will turn off when the output is disabled.
5.2 Adjusting Voltage and Current
- Voltage Adjustment: Rotate the VOLTAGE SETOUT knob to adjust the desired voltage. Press the knob to select which digit you wish to adjust for fine-tuning. The voltage resolution is 0.01V.
- Current Adjustment: Rotate the CURRENT LOCK knob to set the maximum current limit. Press the knob to select which digit you wish to adjust for fine-tuning. The current resolution is 0.001A.
- Ensure the voltage and current limits are set appropriately for your connected load to prevent damage.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
To clean the exterior of the power supply, use a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the casing or display. Ensure the unit is powered off and disconnected from the mains before cleaning.
6.2 Ventilation
Ensure that the ventilation openings on the sides and rear of the unit are not obstructed. Proper airflow is crucial for dissipating heat and maintaining optimal performance and lifespan of the device. The built-in cooling fan helps regulate internal temperature.

6.3 Fuse Replacement
If the power supply fails to turn on, check the fuse located in the fuse holder on the rear panel. Disconnect the unit from the mains power before attempting to replace the fuse. Use only fuses of the specified type and rating to avoid damage to the unit or risk of fire.
7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Unit does not power on. | No AC power; Main power switch off; Blown fuse. | Check power cord connection and wall outlet. Ensure main power switch is ON. Replace fuse if blown (refer to Section 6.3). |
| No output voltage/current when enabled. | Output button OFF; Output terminals not connected correctly; Overload protection activated. | Press the OUTPUT button to enable. Verify connections to load. Check if OVP/OCP indicators are lit; reduce load or adjust limits. |
| Voltage/Current readings are unstable. | Loose connections; Excessive load; Interference. | Ensure all connections are secure. Reduce load if it exceeds unit's capacity. Relocate unit away from strong electromagnetic interference. |
| Unit overheats or fan is excessively loud. | Obstructed ventilation; Prolonged high load operation. | Ensure ventilation openings are clear. Reduce load or allow unit to cool down. |
