4. Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the pump and all accessories from the packaging. Inspect for any damage during transit.
- Hose Connection: Attach a suitable discharge hose to the 2-inch connector on the pump. Ensure the connection is secure to prevent leaks during operation.
- Positioning: Place the pump on a stable, level surface in the water to be pumped. Ensure the pump is fully submerged if operating in automatic mode with the float switch. The maximum immersion depth is 7 meters.
- Float Switch Adjustment: The float switch controls the automatic on/off function. Adjust its position to set the desired minimum and maximum water levels for operation. The pump will start when the water level rises and lift the float switch, and stop when the water level drops and the float switch falls.
- Power Connection: Connect the power cable to a grounded electrical outlet (230V AC) protected by a residual current device (RCD).
5. Operating Instructions
- Automatic Operation:
- Ensure the float switch is freely movable and adjusted to the desired water levels.
- Plug the pump into the power supply. The pump will start automatically when the water level reaches the upper activation point of the float switch.
- The pump will stop automatically when the water level drops to the lower deactivation point of the float switch.
- Manual Operation:
For continuous operation, some models allow the float switch to be secured in an upward position. Refer to the specific markings or instructions on your pump for manual mode. In manual mode, the pump will run continuously until unplugged or the water level drops below the pump's intake.
- Monitoring: During operation, periodically check the pump for unusual noises or vibrations. Ensure the discharge hose is not kinked or blocked.
- Shutting Down: To stop the pump, disconnect it from the power supply. If operating in automatic mode, it will stop when the water level drops.

6. Maintenance

- Cleaning: After each use, especially with dirty water, rinse the pump thoroughly with clean water. Remove any debris or foreign objects from the intake screen and cutting mechanism.
- Inspection: Periodically inspect the power cable, plug, and float switch for any signs of damage or wear. Check the hose connections for tightness.
- Frost Protection: If the pump is stored in an area where temperatures may drop below freezing, ensure all water is drained from the pump to prevent damage.
- Storage: Store the pump in a dry, frost-free location when not in use.
