5. Setup
5.1 Charging the Speaker
- Connect the provided USB charging cable to the charging port on the speaker.

- The battery indicator lights will illuminate to show charging status. All four lights will be solid when fully charged.
- A full charge takes approximately 4 hours.
5.2 Bluetooth Pairing

- Ensure the speaker is fully charged before first use.
- Press and hold the Power button to turn on the speaker. A voice prompt will indicate it's powered on.
- The speaker will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode, indicated by a flashing Bluetooth indicator light.
- On your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "Awei Y669" from the list of devices.
- Once paired, a voice prompt will confirm the connection, and the Bluetooth indicator light will become solid.
- The speaker supports multipoint connection, allowing it to be paired with multiple devices, though only one can play audio at a time.
5.3 AUX Input
- Connect one end of a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to the AUX port on the speaker.
- Connect the other end of the audio cable to the audio output jack of your device.

6.2 Hands-Free Calling
- Answer Call: Short press the Play/Pause button when an incoming call rings.
- End Call: Short press the Play/Pause button during a call.
- Reject Call: Press and hold the Play/Pause button when an incoming call rings.
6.3 TWS (True Wireless Stereo) Interconnection
To connect two Awei Y669 speakers for a stereo sound experience:
- Ensure both Y669 speakers are powered on and not connected to any Bluetooth device.
- On one speaker (this will be the primary speaker), short press the Bluetooth button twice. It will enter TWS pairing mode.
- The primary speaker will automatically search for and connect to the second Y669 speaker.
- Once connected, a voice prompt will confirm the TWS connection. The primary speaker's Bluetooth indicator will flash, and the secondary speaker's indicator will be solid.
- Now, connect your mobile device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in Section 5.2.
- Audio will now play in stereo through both speakers.
