1. Product Overview

The VGR V-390 is a cordless, rechargeable electric shaver designed for face care and beard trimming. It features an ultra-thin metal net slice and a reciprocating floating blade for a close and comfortable shave. The compact design makes it suitable for travel.

2. Setup

Charging the Shaver:

Before first use, fully charge the shaver. The VGR V-390 uses a USB 2.0 charging interface.

1. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the shaver's charging port.
2. Plug the other end of the USB cable into a compatible power source, such as a computer, laptop, USB wall adapter, or power bank.
3. A full charge takes approximately 8 hours.
4. Once fully charged, the shaver provides approximately 45 minutes of continuous use.

3. Operating Instructions

General Shaving:

1. Ensure the shaver is charged.
2. Remove the protective cap from the shaver head.
3. Press the power button to turn on the shaver.
4. Gently press the shaver head against your skin, moving it in short, circular, or linear motions against the direction of hair growth.
5. The floating blade system adapts to the contours of your face for a thorough shave.
6. After shaving, turn off the shaver and replace the protective cap.

Using the Pop-Up Trimmer:

The shaver includes a pop-up trimmer for detailing and grooming.

1. Locate the slide button for the pop-up trimmer on the side of the shaver.
2. Slide the button upwards to activate the trimmer.
3. Use the trimmer for precise shaping of sideburns, mustaches, or beard lines.
4. Once finished, slide the button back down to retract the trimmer.

4. Maintenance

Cleaning the Shaver:

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and hygiene.

1. Turn off the shaver and disconnect it from any charging source.
2. Remove the shaver head by gently pulling it upwards. The head is detachable for easy cleaning.
3. Use the provided cleaning brush to remove any trapped hair from the blades and the shaver body.
4. For a more thorough clean, the shaver head can be rinsed under running water. Ensure the shaver body remains dry if it is not specified as fully waterproof.
5. Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembling.
6. Reattach the shaver head by aligning it and pressing it down until it clicks into place.

Blade Replacement:

The shaver comes with a spare foil for the main shaver. Replace the foil and blades when you notice a decrease in shaving performance or if the foil becomes damaged. Refer to the cleaning instructions for detaching the head and carefully replace the foil and blade assembly.

If you encounter issues with your VGR V-390 shaver, please refer to the following common solutions:

• Shaver Not Turning On:
  • Ensure the shaver is fully charged. Connect it to a power source and allow it to charge for 8 hours.
  • Check the power button for any obstruction or damage.
• Poor Shaving Performance / Not Shaving Closely:
  • Clean the shaver head thoroughly to remove any accumulated hair or debris.
  • Ensure the shaver head is properly attached.
  • The blades or foil may be worn. Consider replacing the foil and blade assembly.
  • For very thick or long hair, use the pop-up trimmer first to shorten the hair before using the main shaver.
• Battery Not Holding Charge:
  • Ensure you are using the correct USB charging cable and a functional power source.
  • If the battery life has significantly decreased over time, it may indicate battery degradation.
• Unusual Noise or Vibration:
  • Turn off the shaver and inspect the shaver head for any foreign objects or damage.
  • Ensure the shaver head is correctly assembled.

Warranty Information:

This product comes with a 12-month quality warranty against defects in materials and workmanship from the date of original purchase. This warranty is valid only if purchased from the authorized seller "VGR INDIA". The warranty does not cover intentional or unintentional damage caused by the user.

Initiating a Warranty Claim:

To initiate a warranty claim, please contact VGR INDIA at WARRANTY@VGRINDIA.CO.IN. Provide a clear description of the problem, associated pictures, and a copy of your original invoice.

Upon verification of the claim, the company will, at its discretion, either repair or exchange the product if a repair is not possible. Customers are responsible for the cost of transporting the product to the service center, while the company will cover the return shipping cost if a repair or exchange is performed.
