- Attach Casters to Base: Insert the five casters (F) into the holes at the end of each leg of the star base (E) until they click securely into place.
- Insert Gas Lift: Place the gas lift cylinder (D) into the center hole of the assembled star base (E).
- Attach Mechanism Plate to Seat: Align the mechanism plate (G) with the screw holes on the underside of the seat cushion (B). Ensure the front of the mechanism faces the front of the seat. Secure with screws (H) using the provided Allen wrench.
- Attach Armrests to Seat: Attach the armrests (C) to the sides of the seat cushion (B) using screws (H). Do not overtighten initially.
- Attach Backrest to Seat/Armrests: Connect the backrest (A) to the armrests (C) and the seat cushion (B) using screws (H). Once all screws are in place, tighten all screws firmly.

Operating Instructions
Your MELOKEA office chair offers several adjustable features for optimal comfort.
- Height Adjustment:
To raise the chair, lift the lever on the right side of the seat while standing. To lower the chair, sit on the chair and lift the same lever. Release the lever at your desired height.
- Tilt Function and Lock:
Pull the lever on the right side of the seat outwards to enable the tilt function (recline from 90° to 115°). Push the lever inwards to lock the backrest in an upright position (90°).
- Tilt Tension Adjustment:
Rotate the round knob located underneath the seat, at the front of the mechanism plate. Turn clockwise to increase tilt tension (making it harder to recline) and counter-clockwise to decrease tension (making it easier to recline).
- Headrest Adjustment:
The headrest can be adjusted vertically by 6 cm. Gently pull or push the headrest up or down to find your preferred height.
- Lumbar Support:
The chair features a unique low back lumbar support designed to conform to the natural S-curve of your spine, promoting healthy posture.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance will help prolong the life and appearance of your chair.
- Cleaning: Wipe down the mesh and fabric surfaces with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Frame: Clean the metal and plastic parts with a soft, dry cloth.
- Casters: Periodically check the casters for hair or debris that may hinder smooth movement. Clean as needed.
- Tighten Screws: Every few months, check all screws and bolts to ensure they are tight. Retighten if necessary.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |

| Chair wobbles. | Loose screws or uneven floor. | Check and tighten all assembly screws. Ensure the chair is on a flat surface. |
| Casters do not roll smoothly. | Debris caught in wheels or damaged casters. | Clean any hair or debris from the casters. If damaged, consider replacing them. |
| Backrest does not recline or lock. | Tilt mechanism locked or tension too high. | Pull the tilt lever outwards to unlock. Adjust the tilt tension knob counter-clockwise to loosen. |
