2. Safety Guidelines
Your safety is paramount. Always adhere to the following guidelines:
- Always wear a helmet and appropriate safety gear (knee pads, elbow pads) when riding.

- Do not ride in heavy rain or through deep puddles, despite the waterproof certification. While the scooter is designed to be waterproof, excessive exposure to water can cause damage.

4. Setup and Initial Use
4.1 Handlebar Installation
The RCB R10X electric scooter comes mostly pre-assembled. The main assembly step involves attaching the handlebar.
- Carefully remove the scooter from its packaging.
- Lift the main stem of the scooter to its upright position.
- Align the handlebar with the top of the stem, ensuring the cables are not pinched.
- Insert the M5 screws into the designated holes on the handlebar and stem.
- Use the provided M3 Hexagon Wrench to securely tighten all four M5 screws. Ensure the handlebar is firmly attached and does not wobble.
4.2 Unfolding the Scooter
To unfold the scooter from its compact state:
- Locate the folding latch mechanism at the base of the stem.
- Push the red safety buckle upwards and pull the stem release lever.
- Carefully lift the stem upwards until it clicks securely into place.
- Ensure the locking mechanism is fully engaged and the stem is stable before riding.
4.3 Initial Charging
Before your first ride, fully charge the scooter's battery. The battery charge time is approximately 5-6 hours.
- Locate the charging port on the side of the scooter's deck, usually covered by a rubber cap.
- Open the rubber cap and firmly insert the charger cable into the port.
- Plug the charger into a standard wall outlet. The indicator light on the charger will typically turn red during charging and green when fully charged.
- Once fully charged, disconnect the charger and securely close the rubber cap to protect the port from dust and moisture.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Powering On/Off
To power on the scooter, press and hold the power button on the LED display for a few seconds until the screen illuminates. To power off, press and hold the power button again until the display turns off.
5.2 Speed Modes
The RCB R10X offers multiple speed modes to suit different riding conditions:
- Deceleration Mode (Walk Mode): Approximately 3 mph. Ideal for walking alongside the scooter.
- E Mode (Economy): Approximately 7 mph. For extended range and casual riding.
- D Mode (Drive): Approximately 12 mph. A balanced mode for daily commuting.
- S Mode (Sport): Approximately 18 mph. For maximum speed and performance.
To switch between modes, quickly press the power button once. The mode indicator on the LED display will change accordingly.
5.3 Lights and Bell
- Headlight & Taillight: One quick tap of the power button will turn on/off the front and rear lights.
- Brake Light: The rear taillight will illuminate brighter when the brakes are applied.
- Bell: Use the mechanical bell on the handlebar to alert pedestrians or other riders of your presence.
5.4 Braking System
The scooter is equipped with a front drum brake and a rear disc brake for reliable stopping power. Both brakes are controlled by levers on the handlebar. Apply both brakes gently and evenly for smooth and controlled stops.
5.5 Kickstand
To park the scooter, deploy the kickstand located on the side of the deck. Ensure the scooter is on a stable, flat surface before dismounting.

6. Maintenance
