3. Setup (Assembly)

The iPormis Queen Size Platform Bed Frame is designed for straightforward assembly. All necessary tools are included. It is recommended to assemble with two people for ease and speed.

1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging and lay them out on a clean, soft surface to prevent scratches.
2. Assemble Frame: Connect the side rails to the headboard and footboard using the provided bolts and Allen wrench. Ensure all connections are firm.
3. Install Support Legs: Attach the reinforced bed legs to the frame as indicated in the detailed instructions.
4. Place Slats: Position the wooden slats across the frame. The Velcro-secured wooden slats ensure stability and simplify installation.
5. Secure Slats: Ensure the EVA foam mute bars are properly placed between the steel frame and wooden slats to eliminate noise.

4. Operating (Usage)

The iPormis Queen Size Platform Bed Frame is designed for comfort and functionality, eliminating the need for a box spring.

• Mattress Placement: Place your mattress directly onto the wooden slats. No box spring is required.
• Recommended Mattress Height: For optimal aesthetic and comfort, a mattress height of 8-12 inches is recommended.
• Under-Bed Storage: The frame provides 8 inches of clearance underneath, offering practical space for storing household items.
• Headboard Features: The soft, button-tufted wingback headboard provides comfortable back support. The winged sides offer a convenient shelf for small items like glasses or a phone.

5. Maintenance

Proper care will extend the life and appearance of your bed frame.

• Cleaning: The upholstered fabric should be dry cleaned only. For minor spills, gently blot with a clean, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Dusting: Regularly dust the headboard and frame with a soft cloth or vacuum with a brush attachment.
• Tighten Fasteners: Periodically check and re-tighten all bolts and screws to ensure the frame remains stable and noise-free.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your bed frame, refer to the following common solutions:

• Squeaking Noises: If the bed frame develops squeaks, check all connections and tighten any loose bolts. Ensure the EVA foam mute bars are correctly positioned between the slats and the metal frame.
• Unstable Frame: Verify that all legs are securely attached and that the bed is placed on a flat, even surface. Re-tighten all assembly hardware.
• Mattress Sliding: The design is intended to prevent mattress sliding. If your mattress moves excessively, ensure it is properly centered on the slats and that the bed frame is level.
