1. Introduction

The Hot Wheels Action Spiral Speed Crash Track Set features a 29-inch-tall track with multiple crash zones and a motorized booster. It is designed to keep cars continuously racing down a spiral until a crash occurs, providing dynamic play.

2. Safety Information

• WARNING: Not suitable for children under 36 months.
• Adult assembly required.
• Keep hands and hair clear of moving parts, especially the motorized booster.
• Ensure the track is placed on a stable, flat surface to prevent tipping during play.

4. Setup

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
2. Assembly: Adult assembly is required. Follow the numbered and lettered instructions provided with the product to connect track pieces and supports. The track pieces are designed to snap together easily.

3. Battery Installation: The motorized booster requires 4 D batteries (not included). Locate the battery compartments on the base of the track set. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to open the compartments, insert the batteries according to polarity markings, and secure the covers.

5. Operating Instructions

1. Power On: Locate the power switch on the motorized booster and turn it to the "ON" position. The booster will begin to operate.
2. Placing Cars: Place a Hot Wheels vehicle onto the track's entry point leading to the motorized booster. The booster will launch the car up the track.

3. Continuous Racing: The motorized booster is designed to keep cars continuously racing down the spiral track.
4. Crash Zones: The track features three designated crash zones. To increase the challenge and potential for collisions, add additional Hot Wheels vehicles to the track. Observe how different car weights and sizes affect their movement and crash likelihood.

5. Car Storage: Up to 6 cars can be stored on the battery box staging area when not in use.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the track and cars with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not immerse electronic components in water.
• Storage: When not in use, the track set can be disassembled for compact storage. Store in a dry place away from direct sunlight.
• Battery Care: Remove batteries if the toy will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.

7. Troubleshooting

• Cars not moving or slow:
  • Check battery levels and replace all 4 D batteries if necessary.
  • Ensure the power switch is in the "ON" position.
  • Verify that cars are placed correctly on the track and are not obstructed.
  • Note that not all Hot Wheels cars perform optimally on this track; lighter, slimmer cars tend to work best.
• Track pieces separating:
  • Ensure all track connections are securely snapped into place.
  • Place the track on a flat, stable surface.
