Introduction
The BLACK DIAMOND Moji Lantern is a compact, lightweight, and versatile LED camp light designed for various outdoor activities such as camping, backpacking, and travel. It provides a diffused, even light output suitable for illuminating tents, cooking areas, or tabletops. Setup
Battery Installation
- Ensure the lantern is turned off.
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the lantern.
- Twist the cover counter-clockwise to unlock and remove it.
- Insert three (3) AAA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment. The Moji Lantern is also compatible with a rechargeable BD 1500 Li-ion battery (sold separately).
- Replace the battery compartment cover and twist clockwise until securely locked.

Operating Instructions
Power On/Off and Brightness Adjustment
- To Turn On/Off: Press the main power button once.
- To Adjust Brightness: While the lantern is on, press and hold the power button. The light will cycle through its brightness range (dim to bright, then bright to dim). Release the button when the desired brightness level is reached. The lantern will remember the last brightness setting used.
- Flashing Mode: Double-press the power button to activate the flashing emergency mode. Press once more to return to the previous steady light setting.
Hanging Options
The Moji Lantern features a collapsible double-hook loop integrated into its design. This loop allows for versatile hanging options:
- Hang inside a tent from a gear loop.
- Attach to a branch or rope for overhead illumination.
- Use as a tabletop light by simply placing it on a flat surface.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the lantern with a damp cloth to remove dirt or debris. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Battery Care: Remove batteries if the lantern will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage and damage.
- Water Resistance: The Moji Lantern is water-resistant (IPX4 rated), meaning it is protected against splashing water from any direction. It is not designed for submersion. Ensure the battery compartment is securely closed to maintain water resistance.
