This manual provides detailed instructions for setup, operation, and maintenance of your Trento unit.

4.1 Front Panel

5. Setup

5.1 Connecting the Antenna

Screw the provided external antenna into the "ANTENNA" connector on the rear panel. Position the antenna for optimal reception of DAB+ and FM signals.

5.2 Power Connection

Connect the power adapter to the "DC IN 5V" port on the rear of the unit, then plug the adapter into a wall outlet. Ensure the main power switch on the rear is in the "ON" position.

5.3 Audio Output Connections

Choose one of the following methods to connect the Trento to your audio system:

• RCA Analog Output: Use the supplied RCA cable to connect the "LINE OUT (L/R)" ports on the Trento to the analog input (e.g., "AUX IN") of your amplifier or active speakers.
• Optical (Toslink) Digital Output: Use an optical cable (not supplied) to connect the "OPTICAL" port on the Trento to an optical input on your amplifier or DAC.
• Coaxial Digital Output: Use a coaxial cable (not supplied) to connect the "COAXIAL" port on the Trento to a coaxial input on your amplifier or DAC.

5.4 Network Connection (Wi-Fi / Ethernet)

The Trento requires an internet connection for Internet Radio and media streaming features.

• Wi-Fi Connection:
  1. Power on the unit.
  2. Navigate to "Settings" > "Network" > "Wi-Fi Network".
  3. Select "Scan" to find available networks.
  4. Choose your Wi-Fi network and enter the password using the rotary knob and navigation buttons.
  5. Confirm the connection.
• Ethernet Connection:

  Connect an Ethernet cable (not supplied) from your router to the "LAN" port on the rear of the Trento. The unit will automatically detect and connect to the wired network.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Basic Operation

• Power On/Off: Press the power button on the front panel or remote control.
• Volume Control: Use the "Volume" buttons on the remote or the rotary knob on the unit.
• Mode Selection: Press the "MODE" button on the remote or navigate through the main menu to select between Internet Radio, DAB+, FM, Bluetooth, and Media Player.

6.2 Internet Radio

1. Select "Internet Radio" from the main menu.
2. Browse stations by location, genre, or search by name.

6.3 DAB+ Radio

1. Select "DAB+ Radio" from the main menu.

• Sleep Timer: Access "Sleep Timer" in the settings menu to set a countdown (15 to 180 minutes) after which the unit will automatically turn off.
