1. Introduction

The Slevoo Air Purifier BS-03 is designed to improve indoor air quality by effectively capturing airborne particles and eliminating odors. Featuring a compact and efficient design, it is suitable for various spaces in your home.

2. Setup

2.1 Unpacking and Filter Preparation

  1. Carefully remove the air purifier from its packaging.
  2. Unscrew the bottom cover of the unit.
  3. Remove the filter, which is typically wrapped in plastic for shipping.
  4. Remove all plastic packaging from the filter.
  5. Place the unwrapped filter back into the unit, ensuring it is seated correctly.
  6. Screw the bottom cover back on securely.

2.2 Placement and Power Connection

  • Place the air purifier on a flat, stable surface. Ensure there is at least 11.8 inches (30cm) of clearance from any walls or furniture to allow for optimal airflow.
  • Plug the power adapter into the back of the air purifier and then into a standard electrical outlet.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Control Panel Overview

  • Power Button: Tap to turn the air purifier ON/OFF.
  • Fan Speed: Tap the 'Speed' button to cycle through fan speeds (1, 2, 3).
  • Sleep Mode: Tap the 'Sleep' button (often indicated by a moon icon) for quiet operation, reducing fan speed and noise level.
  • Timer: Tap the 'Timer' button to set the operating duration (6h, 12h, 24h). The unit will automatically turn off after the selected time.
  • Light Control: Tap the 'Light' button to turn the ambient light ON/OFF.
  • Child Lock: Hold the 'Lock' button for 3-5 seconds to activate or deactivate the child lock, preventing accidental changes to settings.

3.2 Aromatherapy Function

The Slevoo Air Purifier includes a fragrance sponge design to allow for the diffusion of essential oils.

  1. Locate the aromatherapy sponge compartment below the air outlet on the top of the unit.
  2. Add a few drops of your preferred essential oil (not included) onto the sponge.
  3. Close the compartment. The aroma will be diffused with the purified air.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Filter Replacement

The air purifier is equipped with a filter replacement reminder. The unit monitors the filter status automatically, and a light indicator will illuminate when replacement is needed. The actual lifespan of the filter depends on usage frequency and air quality.

  1. When the filter replacement indicator lights up (typically red), it's time to replace the filter.
  2. Turn off and unplug the air purifier.
  3. Unscrew the bottom cover and remove the old filter.
  4. Insert a new Slevoo BS-03 replacement filter (sold separately) into the unit.
  5. Screw the bottom cover back on.
  6. Plug in the air purifier and press the 'Reset' button for 5 seconds to deactivate the alert. The indicator light will turn blue, signifying the reset is complete.

4.2 Cleaning the Unit

  • Wipe the exterior of the air purifier with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

5. Troubleshooting

  • Unit does not turn on after power outage: The unit does not automatically resume operation after a power interruption. Manually press the power button to restart.
  • Grinding sound on low speed: If the unit produces a grinding sound on low speed, it may indicate a mechanical issue. Contact customer support for assistance.
  • Filter Replacement Indicator remains on after changing filter: Ensure you have pressed and held the 'Reset' button for 5 seconds after installing the new filter.
