Setup
- Charge the Battery: Insert the CORE18V 4 Ah Advanced Power Battery into the provided 18V charger. Ensure the charger is connected to a power outlet. The indicator lights on the charger will show the charging status.
- Attach Sanding Disc: The sander uses a 5-inch 8-hole hook-and-loop backing pad. Align the holes on the sanding disc with the holes on the sander's pad and firmly press the disc onto the pad.
- Install Dust Collection:
- For dust bag use: Attach the included dust bag to the dust port on the sander. Ensure it is securely fastened.
- For vacuum attachment: Remove the dust bag and connect a compatible vacuum hose to the dust port. The sander is compatible with various vacuum systems, including Festool hoses.
- Insert Battery: Once the battery is charged, slide it into the battery slot at the rear of the sander until it clicks securely into place.

Operating Instructions
- Power On/Off: Locate the easy-to-reach on/off switch on the top of the sander. Press it to turn the tool on or off.
- Adjust Speed: Use the speed selector dial, located on the side of the sander, to choose the appropriate speed for your material and application. Higher speeds are suitable for aggressive material removal, while lower speeds are for fine finishing.
- Sanding Technique:
- Hold the sander firmly with both hands, ensuring a balanced grip.
- Place the sanding pad flat against the workpiece before turning the sander on.
- Move the sander in smooth, overlapping circular motions. Avoid applying excessive pressure, as the tool's weight is usually sufficient.
- The ergonomic palm grip allows you to keep your hand close to the work material, preventing tilting and ensuring even sanding.
- Dust Management: Regularly check and empty the dust bag or vacuum canister to maintain optimal dust collection efficiency.

Maintenance
