4. Operating Instructions
The SOGO Hand Blender offers variable speed control and a Turbo function for optimal blending results.

4.2. Turbo Function
For maximum power and quick blending of tough ingredients or for achieving a finer consistency, use the Turbo function.
- Activate Turbo: While the blending shaft is immersed, press and hold the 'TURBO' button (usually the bottom button). The blender will operate at its highest speed.
- Stop Turbo: Release the 'TURBO' button to stop the high-speed blending.
Important: Do not operate the blender continuously for more than 1 minute. Allow the appliance to cool down for at least 3 minutes after each minute of continuous use.
4.3. Blending Tips
- For best results, cut solid ingredients into small pieces before blending.
- When blending in a pot or deep container, ensure the blending head is fully submerged to prevent splashing.
- Move the blender up and down gently to ensure all ingredients are processed evenly.
- Add liquids first when making smoothies or shakes to facilitate smoother blending.
5. Cleaning and Maintenance
Proper cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your SOGO Hand Blender.
- Unplug: Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet before cleaning.
- Disassemble: Twist the blending shaft counter-clockwise and pull it away from the motor unit to detach.
- Clean Blending Shaft and Jar: Wash the blending shaft (especially the blades) and the 800ml measuring jar immediately after use. Use warm soapy water and a brush for the blades to remove food residue. Rinse thoroughly under running water. The blending shaft and jar are generally dishwasher-safe, but hand washing is recommended for blade longevity.
- Clean Motor Unit: Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth. Never immerse the motor unit in water or any other liquid. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may scratch the surface.
- Dry and Store: Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling or storing. Store the appliance in a dry place, out of reach of children.
