Setup Guide

1. Physical Placement

Place the soundbar on a stable, flat surface directly in front of your television. Ensure there are no obstructions blocking the front of the soundbar for optimal sound projection. For best results, position it centrally below your TV.

2. Connecting to Your TV

The MEREDO Sound Bar offers multiple connectivity options. Choose the method that best suits your television and desired audio quality.

• HDMI ARC (Recommended): Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI ARC port on your soundbar and the other end to the HDMI ARC port on your TV. This connection allows for high-quality audio transmission and enables your TV remote to control the soundbar's power and volume.
• Optical: Connect an optical cable from the soundbar's OPTICAL IN port to your TV's optical digital audio output.
• AUX: Use a 3.5mm AUX cable to connect the soundbar's AUX IN port to your TV's audio output.
• USB: Insert a USB drive into the USB port to play audio files directly from the drive.
• Bluetooth 5.0: For wireless connection, enable Bluetooth on your device (e.g., smartphone, tablet) and select "MEREDO Sound Bar" from the available devices.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

Press the Power button on the remote control or the soundbar to turn it on or off. If connected via HDMI ARC, the soundbar may power on/off automatically with your TV.

2. Input Selection

Press the MODE button on the remote control to cycle through the available input sources: HDMI ARC, Bluetooth, Optical, AUX, and USB. The LED display on the soundbar will indicate the current mode.

3. EQ Modes

The soundbar features 5 preset EQ modes to optimize your listening experience:

• Film: Enhances dialogue and cinematic effects for movies.
• News: Optimizes vocal clarity for news broadcasts and talk shows.
• Music: Provides a balanced sound profile for music playback.
• Bass: Boosts low frequencies for a more impactful bass response.
• Game: Creates an immersive soundstage for gaming.

Press the corresponding button (Film, News, Music, Bass, Game) on the remote control to select your desired EQ mode.

4. Volume and Tone Control

Adjust the master volume using the Volume + / - buttons on the remote or the soundbar. You can also fine-tune the bass and treble levels from -5 to +5 using the dedicated BASS+ / BASS- and TREBLE+ / TREBLE- buttons on the remote.

5. LED Display Control

The soundbar features an LED display that shows the current mode and volume level. To turn off the LED display for an undisturbed viewing experience, press the DISPLAY button on the remote control. The display will automatically turn off after 5 seconds of inactivity.

Care and Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the surface of the soundbar. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
• Storage: If storing the soundbar for an extended period, disconnect it from power and store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Ventilation: Ensure proper ventilation around the soundbar to prevent overheating. Do not block any ventilation openings.
