Maintenance

Cleaning Your Apple Watch

Regularly clean your Apple Watch to maintain its appearance and functionality. Use a soft, lint-free cloth. If necessary, lightly dampen the cloth with fresh water. Do not use soaps, cleaning products, abrasive materials, or compressed air. Ensure the watch is powered off and disconnected from the charger before cleaning.

Water Resistance

The Apple Watch Series 7 is swimproof and water resistant up to 50 meters. It can be used for shallow-water activities like swimming in a pool or ocean. It should not be used for scuba diving, waterskiing, or other activities involving high-velocity water or submersion below shallow depths. Water resistance is not a permanent condition and may diminish over time.

Battery Care

To optimize battery life, keep your Apple Watch updated to the latest watchOS. Avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperatures. For long-term storage, charge the watch to about 50% and power it off.

Troubleshooting

Watch Not Responding

If your Apple Watch is unresponsive, try a force restart. Press and hold both the Digital Crown and the side button for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

Pairing Issues

Ensure your iPhone's Bluetooth is enabled and both devices are charged. If issues persist, unpair the watch from your iPhone (if possible) and attempt to pair again. As a last resort, you may need to erase all content and settings on your Apple Watch and set it up as new.

App Functionality

If an app is not working correctly, try closing and reopening it. If the problem continues, restart your Apple Watch. Ensure both your watchOS and the app are updated to their latest versions.
