Apps on Your Wrist

Access a variety of apps directly from your Apple Watch, including Calendar, Wallet for Apple Pay, and Mindfulness. The App Store offers tens of thousands of additional applications to expand your watch's functionality.

Maintenance

Cleaning Your Apple Watch

To clean your Apple Watch, power it off and disconnect it from the charger. Wipe the watch and band with a soft, lint-free cloth. If necessary, slightly dampen the cloth with fresh water. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as these can damage the device.

Water Resistance

The Apple Watch SE is swimproof and can be used for shallow-water activities like swimming in a pool or ocean. It is not recommended for scuba diving, waterskiing, or other activities involving high-velocity water or submersion below shallow depths. Water resistance is not a permanent condition and may diminish over time.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Apple Watch SE, consider the following common solutions:

  • Watch Not Responding: Force restart by holding both the Digital Crown and the side button for at least 10 seconds until you see the Apple logo.
  • Pairing Issues: Ensure your iPhone's Bluetooth is on and both devices are charged. Try restarting both your iPhone and Apple Watch.
  • Battery Life Concerns: Optimize settings by reducing background app refresh, turning off unnecessary notifications, and using power-saving modes if available.
  • Connectivity Problems: Verify that your iPhone is within range or that your watch is connected to a known Wi-Fi network.
  • Software Updates: Ensure both your Apple Watch and iPhone are running the latest software versions. Updates often include bug fixes and performance improvements.
