8. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Projector does not turn on. | No power, loose connection, faulty cable/adapter. | Check if the USB cable is securely connected to both the projector and the power source. Try a different USB port or power adapter. Ensure the power outlet is functional. |
| Remote control is not working. | Dead batteries, incorrect battery polarity, obstruction, out of range. | Replace the batteries in the remote control, ensuring correct +/- polarity. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the projector's sensor. Operate within the effective range. |
| Projection is dim or unclear. | Brightness setting too low, ambient light too high, dirty lens. | Increase the brightness using the remote control. Ensure the room is sufficiently dark. Gently clean the projector lens with a soft, dry cloth. |
| Motor/mechanism noise. | Internal mechanism, specific projection angle. | Some minimal noise may be present during operation. Try adjusting the projection angle of the astronaut's head; some angles may reduce audible noise. |
| Stars or nebula not appearing. | Feature turned off. | Press the STAR or NEBULA buttons on the remote to activate the respective projection. |
