Introduction
The SubZero Compact Studio Headphone Amplifier (Model SZ-HPA4) is engineered for high-quality audio monitoring, allowing a single audio source to be distributed to multiple headphones. Its robust design ensures consistent signal integrity even when all four outputs are in use. - Connect your headphones to any of the four Headphone Outputs (1-4) on the front panel.
Operating Instructions
- After completing the setup, press the Power Button on the front panel to turn the amplifier "ON". The Power LED will illuminate green.
- Ensure your audio source is playing sound.
- Adjust the individual Volume Knobs (1-4) for each connected headphone to achieve the desired listening level. Start with the volume low and gradually increase it to a comfortable level.
- To turn off the amplifier, press the Power Button again. The Power LED will turn off.
Note: The amplifier distributes the input signal. It does not amplify the signal beyond the input level, but rather provides individual volume control for each output. Avoid setting individual channel volumes too high if the input signal is already strong, as this may lead to distortion.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the amplifier. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the amplifier in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Ventilation: Ensure the amplifier has adequate ventilation and is not placed in an enclosed space that could restrict airflow.
