3. Setup Instructions
3.1 Assembling the Stand
- Place the monitor face down on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
- Attach the stand neck to the monitor's VESA mount area. Secure with screws if provided.
- Connect the stand base to the stand neck. Tighten the thumb screw or screws at the bottom of the base.
3.2 Connecting the Monitor
Ensure the monitor and all connected devices are powered off before making connections.

- Power Connection: Connect the power cable to the monitor's power input and then to a power outlet.
- Video Input:
- For optimal performance, use the provided DisplayPort cable to connect to your computer's graphics card.
- Alternatively, use an HDMI 2.0 cable to connect to a computer or game console.
- USB Hub: Connect the USB-B to USB-A cable from the monitor's USB-B upstream port to your computer's USB-A port to enable the monitor's USB 3.0 downstream ports.
- Audio Output: Connect headphones or external speakers to the 3.5mm headphone jack if desired.
3.3 Initial Power On
- After all connections are made, power on your computer or game console.
- Press the power button on the monitor. The monitor should automatically detect the active input.
- If no image appears, verify cable connections and ensure the correct input source is selected via the On-Screen Display (OSD) menu.
4. Operating the Monitor
4.1 On-Screen Display (OSD) Navigation
The monitor features an intuitive OSD control system, typically managed by a joystick or a set of buttons located on the back or bottom of the monitor. A remote control may also be included for easier access to settings.
- Press the OSD button/joystick to open the main menu.
- Navigate through menu options using the joystick or directional buttons.
- Press the select button/joystick to confirm a selection or enter a sub-menu.
- Use the back/exit button to return to the previous menu or exit the OSD.
4.2 Picture Settings

- Color Mode: Select from various preset color modes (e.g., Standard, Game, Cinema, sRGB) or customize your own.
- HDRi Optimization: This feature enhances HDR content by optimizing color performance, detail contrast, and image clarity. Access this setting through the OSD.
- Light Tuner: Fine-tune the monitor's light output to achieve desired contrast levels in both bright and dark scenes.
- Eye-Care Technology: BenQ's Eye-Care features, including Brightness Intelligence Plus (B.I.+) and Low Blue Light, are designed to reduce eye strain during prolonged use. Enable and adjust these settings in the OSD.

4.3 Audio Settings
The monitor includes integrated 2.1 channel speakers with a 5W subwoofer, powered by treVolo audio technology.

- Volume Control: Adjust the master volume through the OSD or dedicated buttons.
- Audio Modes: Select from various audio presets (e.g., FPS, RPG, Cinema, Pop/Live) to optimize sound for different content types.
