Setup

Follow these steps to set up your Redragon K617 Fizz keyboard:

Unpack the Keyboard: Carefully remove the keyboard and all accessories from the packaging. The package includes the Redragon K617 Fizz 60% RGB Keyboard, a switch/keycap puller, a switch backup box, and a USB-C cable.
Connect the USB-C Cable: Locate the USB-C port on the keyboard. Connect one end of the provided USB-C cable to the keyboard and the other end to an available USB port on your computer.

System Recognition: Your computer should automatically detect and install the necessary drivers for the keyboard. No additional driver installation is typically required for basic functionality.

Operating Instructions

RGB Backlighting

The keyboard features vibrant RGB backlighting with up to 20 preset modes. Brightness and flowing speed can be adjusted directly on the keyboard. You can select your preferred modes for any playing or working environment.

Hot-Swappable Switches

The K617 Fizz comes with quiet mechanical red switches, providing a linear and soft key travel. The upgraded hot-swappable socket is compatible with almost all 3-pin and 5-pin switches, allowing you to easily change switches without soldering for a customized feel.

To replace a switch:

Use the provided keycap puller to gently remove the keycap.
Use the switch puller to carefully grip the switch and pull it straight up.
Align the pins of the new switch with the holes on the PCB and press down firmly until it clicks into place.
Replace the keycap.

Pro Software Customization

Expand your customization options by using the dedicated Pro Software. This software allows you to design your own lighting modes and effects, create macros with different keybindings, and set shortcuts for more efficient work and gaming. The software can be downloaded from the official Redragon website.

Maintenance
