2. Safety Information

4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking and Filter Installation

Before first use, the filter must be removed from its protective packaging and installed correctly.

  1. Carefully remove the air purifier from its packaging.
  2. Turn the unit upside down and twist the base counter-clockwise to unlock and remove the filter cover.
  3. Remove the sealed filter from inside the unit.
  4. Remove all plastic packaging from the filter.
  5. Insert the unwrapped filter back into the unit.
  6. Replace the filter cover and twist clockwise to lock it securely in place.

4.2 Placement

Place the air purifier on a firm, level surface. For optimal performance, ensure there is adequate space around the unit for air circulation. Avoid placing it directly against walls or in corners.

4.3 Power Connection

Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet (120V AC, 60Hz). The unit will enter standby mode.

5. Operating Instructions

The control panel on top of the unit allows for easy manual operation. All functions are also accessible via the TCL Home app.

5.1 Control Panel Functions

  • Power Button (): Press to turn the unit ON or OFF.
  • Fan Speed Button (): Cycles through fan speeds (1, 2, 3, 4) and Auto mode.
  • Timer Button (): Sets the operating time for 1, 2, 4, or 8 hours. The unit will automatically turn off after the set time.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your TCL Breeva A2 air purifier.

6.1 Filter Replacement

The filter life is typically 3-6 months, depending on usage and air quality. The Filter Reset Indicator will illuminate when replacement is needed.

  1. Unplug the air purifier from the power outlet.
  2. Turn the unit upside down and twist the base counter-clockwise to remove the filter cover.
  3. Remove the old filter and dispose of it properly.
  4. Unpack the new TCL authorized replacement filter.
  5. Insert the new filter into the unit.
  6. Replace the filter cover and twist clockwise to lock it.
  7. Plug in the air purifier. Press and hold the Filter Reset button for 3 seconds until the indicator light turns off.

Note: The filter is not washable and must be replaced.

6.2 Cleaning the Unit

  • Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Air Quality Sensors: Periodically clean the air quality sensors located on the side of the unit with a dry cotton swab to ensure accurate readings.
