4. Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the rice cooker and all accessories from the packaging. Check for any damage.
  2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wash the inner pot, inner lid, and rice scoop with mild dish soap and warm water. Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Ensure all parts are completely dry.
  3. Placement: Place the rice cooker on a stable, flat surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and moisture. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
  4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord securely into a 100V AC outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

Basic Rice Cooking:

  1. Measure Rice: Use the provided measuring cup to measure the desired amount of rice. For best results, do not overfill.
  2. Wash Rice: Wash the rice thoroughly until the water runs clear. Drain well.
  3. Add Water: Place the washed rice into the inner pot. Add water up to the corresponding water level mark for the type and amount of rice.
  4. Place Inner Pot: Insert the inner pot into the main unit, ensuring it sits correctly.
  5. Close Lid: Close the outer lid firmly until it clicks.
  6. Select Menu: Press the 'Menu' button to select your desired cooking course (e.g., White Rice, Brown Rice, My Home Cooking).
  7. Start Cooking: Press the 'Start' button to begin cooking. The cooking indicator will light up.
  8. Completion: Once cooking is complete, the rice cooker will switch to 'Keep Warm' mode and an alert sound will play.
  9. Serve: Open the lid, fluff the rice with the rice scoop, and serve.

  • Barley Rice (Regular/Chewy): Dedicated settings for cooking barley rice to two different textures.
  • Pressure Cooking (7 settings): Adjust the pressure level to achieve rice textures from firm to chewy.

Keep Warm Function:

The rice cooker automatically switches to 'Keep Warm' mode after cooking. You can choose between two settings:

  • Uru-tsuya Keep Warm: Maintains optimal moisture and temperature for up to 30 hours, preventing drying and discoloration.
  • High Keep Warm: Keeps rice at a slightly higher temperature.

6. Cleaning and Maintenance
