Getting Started: Button Functions
Your watch has four primary buttons, each with specific functions depending on the mode. Familiarize yourself with their locations and purposes.

- ADJUST Button (Top Left): Used to enter and exit setting modes. Press and hold to initiate time or date settings.
- MODE Button (Bottom Left): Cycles through the watch's various modes: Timekeeping, Stopwatch, Alarm, and Dual Time.
- LIGHT Button (Top Right): Activates the LED backlight for illumination of the display.
- START Button (Bottom Right): Used to start and stop the stopwatch. In setting modes, it is used to increment or change selected values.
Operating Instructions
1. Timekeeping Mode
This is the default mode, displaying the current time, day of the week, and date.
- To Set the Time and Date:
- In Timekeeping Mode, press and hold the ADJUST button until the seconds begin to flash, indicating the setting mode.
- Press the MODE button to cycle through the settings: Seconds → Hour → Minute → Year → Month → Day.
- Use the START button to increment the flashing value. Hold the START button to rapidly advance the value.
- Once all settings are correct, press the ADJUST button to exit the setting mode.
- 12/24-Hour Format: While in Timekeeping Mode, press the START button to toggle between 12-hour and 24-hour time formats.
2. Stopwatch Mode
The stopwatch measures elapsed time up to 23 hours, 59 minutes, 59.99 seconds.
- From Timekeeping Mode, press the MODE button once to enter Stopwatch Mode. The display will show "00'00"00".
- Press the START button to begin timing.
- Press the START button again to stop timing.
- Press the ADJUST button to reset the stopwatch to "00'00"00".
- To return to Timekeeping Mode, press the MODE button.
3. Alarm Mode
The watch features 5 independent daily alarms and a snooze alarm.
- From Timekeeping Mode, press the MODE button twice to enter Alarm Mode. The display will show "AL1" or similar.
- Press the START button to cycle through the 5 alarms (AL1 to AL5) and the Snooze alarm (SNZ).
- To Set an Alarm:
- Select the desired alarm (e.g., AL1) using the START button.
- Press and hold the ADJUST button until the alarm hour flashes.
- Use the START button to set the hour. Press MODE to move to the minute setting.
- Use the START button to set the minute.
- Press the ADJUST button to confirm and exit.
- To Turn Alarm On/Off: In Alarm Mode, with the desired alarm selected, press the LIGHT button to toggle the alarm on or off. An alarm indicator will appear on the display when active.
- To Stop an Alarm: When an alarm sounds, press any button to stop it. For the Snooze alarm, it will sound again after approximately 5 minutes.
4. Dual Time Mode
This mode allows you to keep track of a second time zone.
- From Timekeeping Mode, press the MODE button three times to enter Dual Time Mode.
- To Set Dual Time:
- In Dual Time Mode, press and hold the ADJUST button until the hour flashes.
- Use the START button to set the hour. Press MODE to move to the minute setting.
- Use the START button to set the minute.
- Press the ADJUST button to confirm and exit.
5. LED Backlight
Press the LIGHT button (top right) in any mode to illuminate the display for a few seconds.
Maintenance and Care
- Cleaning: Wipe the watch regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, use a soft cloth dampened with water and mild soap, then wipe dry. Avoid using chemical cleaners.
- Water Resistance: Your watch is water resistant up to 100 meters (10 BAR). This means it is suitable for everyday use, showering, and swimming. Do not operate buttons while the watch is wet or submerged. Avoid exposing the watch to hot water or steam, as this can damage the seals.
- Temperature Extremes: Avoid exposing your watch to extreme temperatures, both hot and cold, for prolonged periods.
- Battery Replacement: The watch is equipped with a long-life lithium battery (approximately 10 years). When the display becomes dim or functions become erratic, it may be time for battery replacement. It is recommended to have the battery replaced by an authorized Casio service center to ensure proper sealing and water resistance.
- Impact: While durable, avoid strong impacts or dropping the watch, as this can damage internal components or the casing.
