Setup
1. Charging the Speaker:
- Locate the charging port on the side of the speaker (refer to Figure 2).
- Connect the provided USB charging cable to the speaker's charging port.
- Connect the other end of the USB cable to a 5V/1A USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
- The charging indicator light will illuminate. Charging typically takes about 2-5 hours for a full charge.
- The indicator light will change or turn off once charging is complete.
2. Initial Bluetooth Pairing:
- Ensure the speaker is fully charged.
- Press and hold the Power button (refer to Figure 2) for a few seconds until you hear a prompt or see the Bluetooth indicator light flashing, indicating it's in pairing mode.
- On your mobile phone or Bluetooth-enabled device, go to the Bluetooth settings.
- Search for available devices. You should see "awei Y336" or a similar name appear in the list.
- Select "awei Y336" to connect. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation sound, and the Bluetooth indicator light will stop flashing and remain solid.
- Your speaker is now ready for audio playback via Bluetooth.
Operating Instructions
Power On/Off:
- Power On: Press and hold the Power button (labeled in Figure 2) for approximately 3 seconds.
- Power Off: Press and hold the Power button for approximately 3 seconds again.
Volume Control:
- Volume Up: Press the '+' button (labeled in Figure 2).
- Volume Down: Press the '-' button (labeled in Figure 2).
Play/Pause:
- Press the Play/Pause button (labeled in Figure 2) to pause or resume playback.
Switching Play Modes (Bluetooth/AUX):
- The speaker automatically defaults to Bluetooth mode when powered on.
- To use AUX mode, connect a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) from your audio source to the AUX input port on the speaker (refer to Figure 2). The speaker should automatically switch to AUX mode.
- Disconnecting the AUX cable will typically revert the speaker to Bluetooth mode.
